How Can You Port Forward While Keeping It Up Instead Of It Closing Every Day

Is it correct to use the following sentence, “We will keep you updated once we receive an update from team.”?

It's not. It's kind of awkward -in form, and in appearance. And not very pleasing to the ear, either. The repetition of a word (update here) is identified as a language disorder, which better be avoided.‘We will keep you posted on any further update from the team’.We will keep you posted on updates/developments as they come in.We'll keep you in the loop about any update/ word from the team. We'll keep you updated on the latest developments/latest news from the team, if any. We'll keep you posted if there's any more update from the team. We'll keep you posted on additional developments, if any. We'll keep you posted if we hear of any interesting news from the team. We'll fill you in/ clue you in, if we receive any news from the team. We'll keep you updated on the latest news from the team.

Is it possible to cancel my AT&T wireless line and then open a new account as a new customer immediately afterward, and keep my number?

AT&T will probably try discourage this. They may even not let you activate a new line or require that you reactivate your old line for XX days after you cancel it.To accomplish your desired end result, you could:1) get the new phone you want on a new AT&T line, before doing anything else. If your account is in good standing they are probably happy to sell you 5 or 10 more phones at this point. If your account is not in good standing, you either need to get right with the AT&T man, phone a freind, mom, dad, sis, or find some other sucker to let your non-paying ass put the line in their name.2) go get any free/cheap phone from any other carrier. Port your old AT&T number to that carrier. Make sure they have a 100% return policy with no restocking fee, and make sure you understand that policy's requirements 100%. (For bonus points pick the doucheiest rep at the carrier you hate the most to get said phone)3) port your number back from that other carrier to your new AT&T line. Here is where you are likely to run into issues because the number used to to be in AT&T'S system, but with persistence you should be able to explain to them that that old line was cancelled, the number was moved to another carrier, but now you want to bring that number back to your other line, as is your right per the local number portability act. You may actually need to wait a day for their system to update.4) return the other carrier's phone for a full refund & make sure that line cancelled when you ported your number back (if you took the bonus option in #2 go back & see that same douche).Another slightly simpler suggestion without screwing some random wireless rep would be to:1) get the new phone you want on a new AT&T number.2) cancel the old line by porting your number out to a forwarding service like Google Voice.3) forward your old number to your new number. You can probably even install the Google voice app to be able to make outgoing calls from your old number & you'd have a second number for whatever.. or port the number back from Google if you're anti-google.If that's still too complicated, stop being cheap & just pay full retail for the phone you want & get the insurance this time.Or take your chances on ebay/Craigslist and see what you can find used in your budget.
