How Chase As A Bank Are They Any Better Than Bank Of America

Chase or Bank of America?

chase does not charge to open up an account. You do need a minimum deposit of $25 to start. You get a free checking if you have direct deposit or you use your debit card five times per month.

Bank of America or Chase?

Most banks have student checking accounts available the are free and include a debit card. They are pretty much a commodity in that respect.
My suggestion is for you to look around the places you normally go to, do you see B of A or Chase or other banks? Do you see more Chase ATM's? You want your money to be accessible!
That would be my personal decision making process.

Which bank is better: Bank of America or Chase Bank?

I'm trying to open up a bank account somewhere other than my current bank because I'm trying to save some money in case I ever need it. Tell me which bank is better and why?

Bank of America VS Chase Bank

thanks!

Chase, Well Fargo, or Bank of America. Which is better?

Why not visit the banks you think are good and are in your neighborhood, doing this will give you an idea on how they operate and how you feel about being there

Visit the websites of the banks you like, see what appeals to you since what appeals to me you may not like.

Personally, I thnk Wells Fargo is the best run bank in the U.S, Chase probably has the better credit cards and then there;s Bank of America that probably located on every corner in a given city

Chase vs. Bank of America?

To respond to iGuy, AIG, GM, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were HUGE companies that went bankrupt. Someone just poked a hole in your logic! ;)

Anyway, Bank of America tends to have lower interest rates. Also, they have more banking locations.

Chase vs Bank of America?
I'm looking into the student checking at both institutions; however, I'm more concerned in a long run banking experience (over 5 years!). I know after 5 years, at both places they will be converted to a different account (BOA will remain free, and chase will be 6 dollars a month, i think?)
If you had any experience with the banks, which one would you suggest? I don't want to have to pay a monthly fee for the account, online banking or online bill pay, after all they are using my money it should be free.

How can you cash a check on Bank of America?

If the check is written on an account at the Bank of America they will cash the check but you need to have a good photo ID and if anything is questionable they may hold the check for a period to make sure it clears but the odds are they will just cash it.If the check is written on a different bank but you have an account at the Bank of America they also will cash the check. If you don’t have an equal amount of cash in your account they will possibly hold the check for 24–72 hours before giving you the cash. If your account has more than that in the account you would most likely be able to get the cash immediately. If the check is not written on the Bank of America and you don’t have an account there then they will most likely not cash the check.
