How Closely Japanese Koreans Vietnamese Chinese And Mongolians Are Related To Each Other

Are koreans, chinese and japanese genetically related?

This is complicated, but put it simple:
Koreans are more like later formed ethnicity than Japanese even tho the civilization on Korean peninsula is earlier than japan. Modern Korean people's dna is different from ancient ones dues to so many times of colonization. And the latest one is Japanese invasion, so they have somewhere close to Japanese.

The ancient japanese yayoi people were originally from south of Yangtze river in China , crossed Korean peninsula and then reached Japan. So I don't know they should be counted as Koreans or Chinese. The Yayoi people mixed with native Jomon people (they have some ancient Caucasoid features) and then created Japanese. Koreans also has some Jomon blood, but much less. And Koreans' inner racial marriage tradition keeps them away from mixing with foreign blood, but only several time by ancient Han Chinese, then Mongols (covers a lot), and Japanese due to colonization. So Koreans' facial features are very similar to Mongols. Since Japanese and Chinese both have certain level of Australoid blood, Koreans have almost 0
Han Chinese is more complicated. The ancient Chinese are different from modern Chinese. The Han Chinese marriage tradition is if the father side is Han Chinese, then their later generation would become Han Chinese. So the group got bigger and bigger. From north they have mongols, russians blood to south there're Australoid blood, the dna is very various.

I know my words would offend those Koreans who wanna be Japanese, and those Chinese and Japanese who hate each other so much. But the fact is, Japanese is China origin. Koreans are mongolia or Manchuria origin. They're really different

Is Vietnam or Korea more closely connected to Chinese culture?

I would say Korea.Geographically, both countries border China. But Chinese culture originates from the north (well, from the central part or Zhongyuan 中原 more specifically), which is closer to Korea than to Vietnam. For northern and eastern Chinese, even the part of China bordering Vietnam is sometimese considered uncivilized or barbaric 南蛮, let alone Vietnam.Historically, Korea is also more closely associated with China. And there have been more cultural interactions between China and Korea than otherwise. Actually a large part of Korean Peninsula used to be an important territory of Han dynasty, named the four commanderies of Han 汉四郡.

Are Koreans more closely related to Chinese or Vietnamese people, genetically?

recent research shows a Han Chinese from northern China is actually genetically closer to Korean, Mongol etc. than their fellow Han Chinese from Southern China. In Asia there is 2 cradle of ethnicity (well east asia), the monoloid cradle, defined by sinodont dental structure and the dysfunctional ABCC11 genetic trait which shows that this group appeared 40,000 years ago in what is now mongolia. and another group which started in what is now Taiwan, the pacific islander group.the islander group populated southern china, some of japan, and much of the islands and south east asia. they are much darker, and never got the mono-lid trait, thus having double eye-lids naturally, while the mongoloid group evolved mono-lids as it is superior for intense sun-light without shade from trees which is common in the steppe, as well as defense from sandstorms and etc.the northern group traveled a lot, they were nomadic and thus pushed into southern china and japan to displace the islander people, the northern group was quite dominant and thus there are many northern traits in south east asia and the pacific islands today. however un-traveled places still have aboriginals who look completely different. In this case, it is safe to say that Koreans are closer to Chinese, but this is not to say All Chinese, as China is diverse, Koreans are closer to Northern Chinese. But there are many vietnamese who have ancestry migrated from northern regions, the teochew people for example are from the central north China region and had mass migration into fujian and then into places like vietnam and etc. if they married with their own community, many of them who stayed “pure” would have northern features such as being larger than others in south asia, as well as much lighter skinned.

Are Koreans more closely related to Mongolians or Chinese?

Mongolians and Koreans are two completely different people. Korean culture is more similar to Chinese. Mongols were/are nomadic and pastoral people, but Koreans have always been sedentary people. Mongolians have never adapted Confucian, Taoist philosophy, Chinese writing, also don't even use chopsticks. Writing and language is also completely different. As a Mongolian, I also can tell their physical appearance is different, too.  Mongolians look much more like Siberians, Yakuts, Buryats, Tuvans or some kazakhs etc. Maybe some Koreans have some Tungusic/Manchu blood in them, some Mongolians are possibly mixed with Manchu-Tungus as well, but genetic test has proven that we are not related and as a whole we are completely different people.  Доор бичсэн Наранцогт Баатархүүд: 200 жил дарлуулсан хангалтгүй санагдаад байна уу?

Can you tell Chinese, Japanese and Koreans apart?

absolutely but I had a lot of exposure to asians becasue of where I grew up.
Some asians are easily to tell the origins of because they are darker skinned. I can tell a viet from a japanese easily. They dont look anything alike.
There are eye shape differences and face shape difference.

I can tell chinese from japanese fairly easily. The facial features are extremely different. Also, the style of dress is different. Chinese tend to be modest in dress whereas japanese are pretty western in their dress sometimes almost ridiculously cartoonlike in flair and style.
Telling the difference between korean and japanese is a little harder for me. What usually gives it away is the way they talk.

I can't always do it but on a certain site I had a 70% accuracy.

Do Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese think they look different from the Chinese facially?

Vietnamese here. Yes I do. I know we have relation with Cantonese people in Deep South China. That makes sense as we live close to each other. But in the eyes of Northern Vietnamese the Cantonese faces look harsher, darker, not soft-features like us, among thousands of them only few can pass for Northern Vietnamese. Its funny as when Northern Vietnamese walk around in China the Chinese think we're Cantonese. Do we really look alike?Chinese from other regions of course look different than us.

Between Mongolians and Koreans, which one are the Chinese more closely related to?

According to y-Haplogroups Han chinese are O3, Mongolians are C/C3. Koreans have more O3 in them than C. But their structure looks more similar to Japanese, both have something else which is 02b.

How do Mongolians differ in appearance from Koreans Japanese and Chinese?

I think these pictures illustrate saliently what is difference between Korean and Mongolian men. )))These are certainly provocative jokes. )))) I hope young Koreans will not be too offended with this joke.Nevertheless because Korean men are overly concerned with getting job with their one of the five top companies (cause it insures their future and reputation) like Samsung and etc., they pay too much attention on their appearance, outfit and etc. this tendency made them slightly effeminate. this is especially relevant to their young generation.Koreans also exceedingly concerned with sorting others. They view Mongolians as second sort people indeed. Simply they don’t often disclose that but this fact can be traced clearly from their attitude toward mongols. We Mongols discern Koreans, Chinese and Japanese with ease. Perhaps it is the same like for Europeans to recognize Swedish, Germans, French and etc.

What is the Asian ethnic root of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean peoples? Do they stem from the same root? Which is older and how are they related?

Our(Japanese) origin is mostly the result of a mix.Today modern Japanese are the mix of the Jomon people and the Yayoi people. The Jomon people are the original native Japanese people and originated somewhere in Southeast-Asia or in Indonesia. The Yayoi originated near the Yangze-river area in southern china and moved over the Korean pensuila into Japan. There they mixed with the Jomon and the modern Japanese(yamato) was created.today japanese people means the three groups: Ainu, Yamato and Ryukyuans. All are genetically related and the result of mix of Jomon and Yayoi.Genetically we have the Haplogroups D2, O2b, O3 and O2a.there are some connections to Tibetan people, Chinese people, Korean people and other Southeast-asian populations. In linguistic terms, Japanese is classificated as isolated language. But recent reseaches of proto-japanese show connections to other southeast-asian languages. So linguists often consider Japanese as part of the Austric-family as Para-Austronesian.austric family:here some pictures that explain the migrations routes into Japan:and a DNA chart that show if there are relations to other ethnics or not:We see that we have genetic connections today especially to tibetan people and other not shown southeast-asian tribes.A theory of a northern origin is debunked/obsolete.
