Protecting and condoning immorality fits right in with the democrat agenda. Since all liberal thought, values, morals, policies and beliefs are rooted in specific, fundamental lies. All liberal rhetoric is simply justification of those lies. I have to assume the father of all lies is the true leader of the democrat party. Murdering premature babies has nothing to do with a mother's right to choose what happens to her own body. Another small, innocent body is affected far more. Taxing the rich, does not help the poor. It slows the economy which creates more poverty and misery. Rationed health care is no improvement in what we have now - The best health care system in the world. Man has no ability whatsoever to change the weather. Slowing the economy by taxation of energy use and giving a huge bonus of corporate welfare to GE (which owns major media TV stations and controls the news) and environmental extremists will not change the weather.

The only legal procedure error in his work I can identify or have been shown favored a group I am a member of. So I feel mildly greatful that he did his job as a civil servant competently and generally fairly. Misruling once in my favor was an ethical mistake, but It's one I'm inclined to forgive.Otherwise I feel nothing about him.Let's be honest here. That is high praise given how I feel about most of any Presidents inner circle. It's like being offered honest to God Kraft Mac and Cheese after being forced to eat premodern field rations or Nutraloaf for a few months. It may not be winning any Michelin Stars, but it's about the best thing you've ever tasted.You'd hire the guy to work at your factory. It is not about President Trump OR personal beliefs…it is about the job duties and responsibilities of an AG, not too mention his license! Barr has a decades long history and good reputation in Washington D.C. and also held the position of U.S. Attorney General with President George H.W. Bush. If he was an incompetent dishonest hack we surely would know by now.His job is not to protect any U.S. President, but to uphold and abide by the law; and as an officer of the court, it is to uphold the law regardless of personal beliefs. Right now, I’d say their primary efforts are anti-gerrymandering. It is possible to view this as an attempt to make elections “fairer,” although I suspect their actual purpose is simple Democrat power politics. They don’t want to end gerrymandering, really, they just want to prevent the Republicans from being so good at it.None of this appears to be going through the courts; their present system is good old grassroots political organizing. One suspects this is because they know— they’re both lawyers, and Holder is a moderately good one— such an anti-gerrymandering effort isn’t going anywhere in the courts, or at least not federal court, as it does not appear either the Constitution or federal statute prevents the same.
Why didn't Trump protect reporter Jamal Khashoggi in spite of Obama pleading and advising him to?
At best, he could have made a call or sent a message to the Saudi’s advising that he would consider it a personal favor if the Saudi’s were to treat Khashoggi with all due respect, etc. etc.But let us be honest. Trump hates the media and would not lift a finger to support or protect anyone unless it was one of the empty headed twits at Fox News.While I am no fan of Trump, it is kind of a stretch to expect him to protect Khashoggi as he was entering the Saudi embassy in the country of Turkey. As an outlaw reporter, I was a bit shocked that Khashoggi would willingly enter the embassy but who on earth would expect to enter a building only to be confronted by a hit squad?It says something about our nation that we have such a close relationship with a country that would actively execute this kind of murder. To be clear, our nation has had this relationship for generations. It is not something new or unique to the Trump administration or the Republicans.The relationship is based on our dependence on oil to run our economy. Ironically, in an era where our country was actively working to pursue alternative energy to reduce our dependence on oil, Trump has taken it upon himself to dismantle and cripple a growing industry of alternative energy resources. Unfortunately, even in light of this horrific incident, Trump will continue to pursue the restoration of coal and abandon alternative energy and the new jobs associated with it.
