How Come Obama Is Spying On Our Allies How Many More Countries Will He Turn Against Us

Can you list the lies that the Obama administration has told?

Or actually if there is a story about them on the Fox News website can you please post the link, I'm on my phone so it's hard to search through. I'm aware that I could have just googled "lies Obama told" and a wormhole of lies will come up BUT I want legitimate facts and I only believe stories from Fox News because they are legitimate and know what they are talking about.

Why does it matter that the NSA is spying on people?

Why?

Because foreign espionage is illegal in every nation on the planet.
And the NSA is spying on the whole damn planet.
The US government tried and executed foreign agents caught spying on America.
Do you really want to see foreign governments doing the same to NSA employees?

Because it violates the privacy rights & data protection laws of every nation they're spying on.
Reality is that US laws end at US borders, same as with every other country in the world.
The USA is not magically separate from the rest of the world that America's paranoid, outlaw shenanigans are in any way acceptable behaviour for a member of the International Community.

Because the US is spying on even America's own allies.
That level of paranoia is unacceptable.
The US cannot survive as a nation without its military allies and trade partners.
No more US economy = No more USA. Period.

So feel free to sit around making all the lame excuses all you want.
It's not changing the fact the the US has gone too far and the world's p*ssed off about it.
Lord only knows what the world's governments plan to do about this spying stufff, but for sure whatever they do won't be good for the USA.

Also this: It was so important he said it over and over again to make sure people understood:

"If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy."
-President James Madison, founder and framer of the United States

"It is a universal truth that the loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or pretended, from abroad."
-President James Madison, founder and framer of the United States

"The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home."
-President James Madison, founder and framer of the United States

Just because you want to live in the digital equivalent of a house with glass walls and no curtains doesn't mean everyone else wants to live like zoo animals.

What is so bad about the NSA spying on citizens?

The thing that I don't understand is why Americans are turning their backs on their country. I have seen many Americans saying things like, "America is spying on me, I wish America was like other countries". That is completely untrue. Almost all countries do spying. It's just that no one "officially" knows about the spying because there is no scandal about it. But for the people who keep saying that America is the only country that spies, it must suck to be that naive, right? I don't think the NSA spying on citizens is is as bad as people make it out to be. That's because all countries do spying, so, if I decided to move to another country, then that country would spy on me, too. Spying is a thing that countries do, and that's just how it is. There is no getting away from it.

Do you feel that President Bush's communication skills hurt his message?

Yes, absolutely, I have a communications degree. When I look at how he speaks he uses to many vocalized pauses (um, yeah, like), aside from that, he doesn't use a lot of rhetoric (persuasive discourse). I think America would be more welcoming of his message and his hard work if they were better able to understand him.

Apart from that though, Clinton was a great public speaker, and an even better liar, and quite possibly his administration was solely responsible for failing to plug Osama in Tora Bora.

BY THE WAY 'hichefheidi' WHY DON'T YOU GO BACK TO TORA BORA WHERE you led the escape of Osama Bin Ladin. BUsh never once during his adminsitration failed to capture Osama when he knew of his whereabouts, but CLINTON DID IT TWICE.

You are an idiot hichefheidi

PRISM (NSA Surveillance Program): Is it a common opinion in the US that spying on Germany is necessary?

From my personal observation, yes but with some nuance. The most prevalent view is actually "Everybody spies on everybody else, why are you upset?" It's not country specific. Only the second loudest opion is:"You bet we better keep an eye on Germany, for world wars, Islamic terrorists, close relationship with Russia and so on." There are some mumblings against spying on an ally, but they are very quiet. You have to understand that Americans aren't even really upset their government is spying on them personally, a foreign government and its officials are so low on the "things to be outraged about" list, those who bother to say something are mostly offering up justification and excuses, which doesn't yet mean that most Americans are of that opinion. But, if the justifications are repeated often enough, they will be. That's in a way the whole dynamics of American politics in recent years -  hyper partisanship that doesn't care at all about the rightness or the  wrongness of an issue itself, as long as my side is doing it, it's  a-okay. So if the Republicans were in the White House, there would have  been slightly more protests from the political left who is a tad bit  more concerned about keeping a friendly relationship with European  countries. "Europe" is a dirty word for the political right, it's used  as insult and Germany is an unmistakeably European country. It would  have been worse if it's France.
