My instagram wont let me tag anyone?
Like when i upload a picture i cant tag anyone unless i upload it and then they comment. Please help idk why it does that. Also i always have it up to date so idk whats the problem.
Instagram hashtags not working!?
My pictures don't show up in the things I hash tag it in. For example, if I hash tag #band on my photo when I upload it, and if I click on it it's not there.): I'm not getting likes on my photo anymore and it's kind of annoying. Can anyone explain why my account is doing this? P.S. I don't have my account on private or anything. This is a new problem for me and I haven't changed the privacy settings since I got my Instagram in the first place.

I post pictures frequently on Instagram but for some reason my hashtags won't connect anymore, I tried unpopular tags so I could find my photo when this happened and I couldn't find it and its not working on popular tags either anyone got any idea why and how I can fix this?

I just realized they haven't been working because it doesn't get any likes from anyone who's *not* my follower (i.e. the people who have been liking my photos are only my followers.) 1. For one, i BARELY put more than 6 hashtags. (I don't even do any of those hashtags like #tagsforlikes or something like #followforfollow, I just don't like those) 2. My profile is public, not set to private. 3. I've already linked it to a facebook account (a fake one though, since I don't use facebook. I'm not active on that fb acct though, I just use it to connect my instagram to that.) 4. I've already tried re-installing the app, and restarting my phone. 5. I've also tried putting the hashtags on the comment section (instead of on the caption), deleting them, then putting them back as a comment. (2 weeks ago, I've also used Gramblr, and it seems like that app may have caused this to my acct) This has been going on now since exactly 2 weeks ago. Has anyone else here encountered this issue? I can't even contact instagram because they removed their contact email from their own website. Any help would be appreciated.

How can you fix it? If it's related to the hashtags you use then you need to mix up your hashtags. Don't use the maximum 30 for each post, rather use 20 or 25.And use different ones for each photo. Why can't I add more hashtags to my post on Instagram?
Same thing happens to me. It seems like Instagram hasn't updated their blogpost regarding this term yet. We can only put about 20 hashtags or so for each post.However, you might want to get a rid of hashtags that is getting too popular or common, because there's less and less chance people would discover it anyway (unless they're bots). And specific (but not too specific) hashtags may lead to better discovery of the post.If your intention is to get a chance to be featured by popular accounts with huge followings (e.g. instagood), I suggest to tag them right in your photo with Tag People feature. They're more likely to notice it than with the hashtags with hundreds of images posted every second.

I'm so frustrated too!! I want my pics out there, so i want to use tags!! I even trued to make a new account: the first hour worked well but then this started crashing as well. what is wrong with instagram?! ive also written emails to them: no answer. they shoukd fix it. im getting pretty pissed

Why aren't my Instagram hashtags not working?
This has been a recent problem. The last few pics I've uploaded, just have non-working hashtags. When I say non-working, I mean that they're just not linking. They highlight blue, but when I select the tag, my pic doesn't show in the feed. Anyone else have this problem, and is there anyway I can fix this? I've tried emailing Instagram, but they haven't gotten back to me. I've also logged out and back in. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but to no avail. What's also weird is that even when I add hashtags through the website, and other sites like Follogram, the same problem still happens. I'm getting no likes. It's as if they're ghost pics. It's really annoying.
