How Come You Retain Something Better If You Phrase That Thing Into A Question

What is the Best Answer to the HR question " Will you leave this organization if you get a better opportunity? "

I have faced some interviews where this question hit me hard. But keeping in mind that your recruiter is also an employee, you can give easy answer! In beginning I used to say Yes or No with hypothetical kind of ordinary reason which even interviewer also knew. But in my last interview I have given damn honest-practical-hypothetical kind of answer.I answered, “For me, better opportunity doesn't mean hike in salary. I am here because not only I need job but I know the technology and service support of this company. When I out there for my work, I will be aware back in my mind, I know that I have so much to say to our customer that eventually help myself to create trust and rapport with my customer; having this company by my side. And that's how I think of this phrase - better opportunity. So in case, if I shall get an opportunity from other company, I will grab it if that company possess the same stature as of yours in the industry. But for salary hike I know I will be admired as per my quality of work regardless of where do I work.”My Recruiter found this anwer precise by its words! Obviously, everyone know the answer but in inerview how you communicate or express yourself plays important role. I think such question is an opportunity to stand out from the crowd.

When I study, I remember everything. But during the exam, I forget everything. I can't remember a word properly and everything is shuffled in my mind. How can I improve my memory?

When you study something, concentrate and avoid distractions. Letting your mind wander somewhere else wont help.Avoid exam fears. Avoid thoughts like "what if this question doesnt come?" "What if the question I dint study appears in the question paper?"etc. When you study some answer make yourself believe that if that question comes, you will attempt it and write the best answer possible. Train yourself to believe in you. That is, what you study will definitely come in the exam. Because sometimes when we study doubtfully and even if the question appears, we tend to forget the answer because of the loss of interest and concentration while studying.Visualise what you study. Highlight the important sentences and concepts because when writting you will remember better and you will be able to visualise the answer. Trust me. It happens and I'v experienced it. Try this:Do this before going to sleep. Imagine you writting your exam.Visualise your confident and happy face and imagine that you are writting the exam really well.Visualise the way you write, the kind of questions you answer (including you exiting the exam hall and talking to your friends about how easy the exam was! It might sound crazy but believe me it works) and continue doing it till you fall asleep.Do this everyday.Trust me, you will see the impact on the day of your exam. :)All the best :) P.S: Let me know if it worked :). It surely will.

Why do I keep hitting myself with a hammer? Because it feels so good when I stop.?

it means that you do something for the pleasure of the outcome... whether the thing you are doing is good or bad... and for all you people above that thought this person was really hitting his/herself are dumbasses.

What is the best way to learn and retain spelling words?

There are two kinds of words that we have to learn. Those that are phonetic and can be sounded out, and those that we need to memorize because they are unusual called 'sight words'. If we don't know the rules for phonics and try just to memorize all the words as sight words,, we reach a limit on how many words we can memorize. The phonics rules find words that have something in common, and that we can sound out and so even if we don't remember them we can figure them out easily.

so phonics starts out simply with 3 letter words like,, hat, mat, tap... and then we learn the silent 'e' rule.. and come up with hate, mate, tape,,, then we learn combinations like ship and chip,,, and meet and meat. They are easier to remember that way,, and also the rules , as someone mentioned like "i after e except after c". Then you only have to memorize words like 'said' 'give'.

A syllable is a part of a word that has a vowel in it and a separate sound. Say each one as a part and go part by part .. for example:

everybody is ev er y bod y; understand is un der stand; memorize is me mo rize

another thing that helps is to stay calm,, don't panic... when we get nervous it is harder to think. Some kids freeze up. Stay calm and sound it out, or let your brain just do its thing. Some kids are thinking.. "oh, I can't do this! It's too hard! " and they get too upset to be able to think. so just stay calm,,, do your best, and if you've done your studying,,, it will come back to you.

The other part of it is to go over them every day. The first day you can look at them and say them. The second day you try to do them without looking, but you can look if you need to. The third day it should be easier. Write each one down 3 times. The fourth day, if the test is on Friday, ask someone to drill you. This means you really can't look cuz they have the book. Using them in sentences does help, like they do in spelling bees.

Do former Soldiers/Marines retain their toughness?

My grandfather was in the army 50 years ago, yet the way he behaved, the way he walked, even the way he folded his clothes, I could just guess he was in the army even before he told me.

I watch The A Team and George Peppard, had a tough look, even as an older man, he looked physically tough, turned out he was in the US marines

Same with others like Lee Marvin etc

Do former soldiers/marines, retain the toughness or behavior learned in the army?

What does the phrase "live life to the fullest" mean?

Great question!!

I think what is meant by living life to the fullest is to live freely without any inhibitions or restrictions... it is sort of a rebellion against the presumed constraints placed by the social and religious norms.... it is perhaps a declaration of war against any norm that intends to bind us. In that sense, I believe that this phrase is shallow and highly materialistic... something like saying lots of quantity and variety can ensure quality.... on the contrary, both excessive quantity and variety are sure prescriptions for aberrations in quality. I would therefore say that those who are talking of living life to its fullest are missing the point that being full is very different from being satisfied and happy.
