Is getting straight B's on a report card considered good grades?
Not in my house, unfortunately. I'd prefer to see all As. If my kids are struggling or need help in a subject, they should come to me for help, and if I can't help them, we'll find them a tutor. An occasional B is fine if I know my child is putting forth their best effort, but nothing but Bs would cause me some concern.
How do I make straight 100's on my report cards?
to noa: ....i have straight 100s on my report card \_/ (except gym, thts a 97) and i hav a life!! and tht is correcting people like u! okayy.... srry to the askrr (: to have straight 100s on ur report card, u shud: - TRY UR BEST! try, try, try again! u try, u fail, and then u achieve. thts wat i do. the harder i try, the better i get, and the more u achieve. sometimes u will loose, but u have to remind urself abt ur wins, and go on. go on w/ life, and try againn! - FOLLOW UR TEACHER! by this i mean, just do wat the teacher says. try to impress the teacher. go above and beyond. the more u strive for the best, the faster u will get it. - STUDY! this is more self-explanetory, but me, in particularr, i like making study sheets, and going ovrr notes. also, anothrr way i study is by listening to the teacher. jst listening and trying to understand. this helps me alot, becuz i retain info by listening. - GIVE UP TIME! to make straight 100s, u have to sacrifice things tht will not let u achieve ur goal. for example, giving up a shopping day for a day devoted to studying for a test. (: honestly, making straight 100's isnt tht of a big deal! it will jst come to u naturally .... little by little try to improve, and ul see one day tht u reached ur goal. want straight 100's frm ur heart, not ur brain. than ul acheive it. English Language Arts:B Mathematics:B Science:C+ Social Studies:B Personal planning:A Art:A And some other stuff I forgot. QUESTION: IS IT TRUE THAT A C+ IS BETTER THAN A C AND C-? AND Is my report card good or bad for the first term in 6th grade?
My son got a B on his report card. Punishment?
I grounded him for 2 weeks. Took all his videogames and electronics. I took his cell phone. And I reduced his allowance from 50 dollars a week to 25 dollars a week until he gets that B back to an A. I gave him a lot more chores to do around the house. Make him study an additional hour and half a day. It's Algebra 2. It's easy. If he got a B in Calculus I could maybe understand. I am so dissapointed in my son. I was hoping he would finish in the top 10% of his class. I am so hurt. It is now unlikely he will place in the top 10% with a B. I want to be a proud parent, not a dissapointed one. Anyway, is my punishment too harsh? Any ideas on punishments?

If you're taking a full load of classes at MIT and majoring in electrical engineering, more than likely. If you're attending Shaniqua Washington Middle School down by MLK Boulevard, a straight A report card could just mean you show up every day without giving the teachers much backtalk.
