Why are young people so afraid of hard work?
The liberals have made kids lazy Back in my time we didn't get sick leave, we didn't get vacation time, we didn't have family medical leave We work all day and all night We didn't take time off I miss both my parents funeral and many other family events like funeral and weddings. Yet now we have these stupid kids who wouldn't work and they want to have days off , and get paid for it That is what made America great
My only friend is leaving the school, please see details?
The only person I can tolerate and care about at school (we're sophomores in high school) is leaving and going to another school. I literally hate everyone else there. They never care about me and leave me out of so many things so why should I care about them or try to be friends with them? I mean, what the hell should I do? My two other friends left this s***** school last year and now the only one left is leaving too, so I'm fresh out of friends for after the holiday break. So what are some things I can do in my school (during break time and lunch) that DON'T involve hanging out with others? I'm a very introverted person, and no one in my school has the same interests as me so it's kind of hard to talk to someone when you have NOTHING in common. And please tell me things I can do other than trying to study or do my homework because I swear the crappy school I go to is the noisiest place I know of. I can't concentrate at all.
Are you pretty much afraid to leave the house like I am these days?
At the end of your life, whenever it comes, you will not want to look back and see that you stopped living your life because you were afraid. Figure out ways to get over your fears, talk to someone about it, move to a different area, meditate--whatever. I don't think your fears are realistic. Once you get them calmed down, get out and do some fun things with your friends and family. After all, a tree could fall on the roof of your house and squash you, so you're not safe anywhere. Might as well live.
I'm afraid that somebody could beat me up. What can I do to lessen this fear?
there is always going to be "somebody" that can beat you up, but the point is do you have to be the one getting beat up, try not to get into situations that can cause this, and just for you to know, i'm sure that there are other kids who think the same of you and are afraid of you or your intelligence or how smart you are, they are not worthy of you have to worry about this .......my son helps out teachers to stay away from certain situations or kids that are bullies........good luck buddy
I'm scared to leave voicemail messages?
I thought I was just a shy person, but I'm starting to realize that leaving voicemail messages is a serious fear of mine. I was about to leave an important voicemail this morning, but when the voice said "Please leave a message after the beep", my hands were shaking so hard, and then when it beeped, I panicked and hung up the phone. The person I was leaving the voice message for was a close friend of mine too, so there was no reason for me to be afraid, and I realize that. I just can't help being afraid though. What should I do about this? I can't avoid leaving voicemails for the rest of my life!
