It’s sad, really.I read this question, and my first thoughts simultaneously had suggestions and tips on how to stop eating, as well as thinking I should follow the question to see what kind of other suggestions would pop up later. But then my second thoughts. This isn’t me anymore.I thought I was getting better.I thought I was better.I assume you have questions like I did (and do).“how to keep my stomach from growling”“How to keep energy up during a fast”“Will black coffee make me gain weight?”And I assume you want tips and tricks on how to successfully not eat anything while feeling fine.I instead offer you this:Eat. You do not have to eat a lot, I know the struggle. I know the feeling of looking at a plate of food and wishing you could throw it away.My “trick” I used to eat enough to keep me feeling full, but I didn’t want to fall into the trap of fasting was trail mix bags. I bought little packs of an energy blend trail mix and kept them in my car/backpack/purse. When I was hungry and desperate for food, but I was feeling anxiety about eating, I would snack on some trail mix. I wouldn’t always eat the whole packet, perhaps half a handful at some points. But it was enough so I felt I wasn’t failing. This isn’t meant to be an Ana “tip”.This is what helped me start recovery. It was something I could eat and not feel guilt. Guilt about wasting money on myself, and guilt for eating. It gets better. I promise.

What can I do to stop binge eating?

You have to confront the reasons why you are doing this. You're not doing it just because it tastes good.

You hate yourself. You hate your life. It is a vicious cycle. You don't see why there would be a reason to stop now...I mean look at yourself, right? What is the point...right?

The point is that you're only 19. You have your entire life ahead of you. If you aren't careful you will have no life. NO job. You'll be on disability.

If you can't stop doing this - you'll die.

You CAN control this. This is the one thing in your life that you DO have control over.

Sweetie - you need to join a support group. This isn't just about food. You need to get to the bottom of this. You are worth it. I promise.

Take that money you are spending on food and start putting it in your savings so you can get a treadmill or go to a cooking class or see a nutritionist. There is so much you can do.

I can tell you right now - I've lost 100 pounds on a low carb diet. ITS NOT EASY. Its hard as hell. But it is possible.

You are worth it. You got that? You are worth it.

How can I stop my eating issue?

Eat foods which are satisfying, meaning they kill your craving for food.

Whole grain foods are excellent for this. Peanuts as well. 15 peanuts can kill a craving for a few hours.

This question isn’t phrased great, but i’ll do my best!I’m assuming if ‘he’ has access to paper notebooks, he’s old enough to speak and learn. Inform him gently on the dangers of eating paper from notebooks. For one, it can choke you, and most importantly, notebook paper is full of bleaches, dyes and ink that can be detrimental to the health of whoever is consuming. In large quantities especially, which if this is a habit, it would be.Eating notebook paper is technically poisonous. This means that stopping the habit it important. If this doesn’t work i’d suggest perhaps substituting paper cravings by bringing around dry crackers, rice paper, or another edible yet similar food. Just eat the substitute food instead of the notebook paper.Another idea is spraying each page with a bad tasting edible fluid you can usually find in pharmacies that is used to stop people biting nails, this way chewing paper won’t taste so good. However you go about it, I hope this helped even a little!

First, I would ask why is it that you eat soil?

How can I stop eating because I'm bored

Hi I had (still having) the same problem. i used to eat when watching TV, working in computer etc. But I realized it is not good and changed the strategy. I started eating negative calorie foods i.e. foods that burn calories when eating and not adding calories to your system. Isn't' that great? I will give you a list of those type of foods below. Please give it a try keeping in mind that they are just like snacks and should not be taken as a meal if you want to avoid malnutrition and they should not be combined with sugar, oil etc just eat as it is may be combining to your liking with any other of this group.

Celery, Oranges, Strawberries, Tangerines, Grapefruit, Carrots, apricots, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Watermelon, Cauliflower, Apples, Hot Chili Peppers, Zucchini

Hope you benefit from this and would have channelized your eating habit in a more positive way.

How can I stop eating candy?

Candy tends to be loaded with things like artificial colors, flavors, sugar...things that are really bad for your body :( Keep that in mind when you want to eat candy.

What you can try is replacing your candy with healthier alternatives.

Examples:

- Frozen grapes
- Frozen banana slices - you can try adding a little chocolate hazelnut spread; or almond or peanut butter with dark chocolate chips to the banana - for a healthier treat.
- Putting fruit like strawberries or watermelon cubes in the freezer.
- Dark chocolate, in small amounts
- Dried fruit like mango strips, dried blueberries, dried cherries, dried papaya, raisins, etc.
- Trail mix with dark chocolate chips, nuts, seeds, dried fruit like cherries
- Organic cocoa puffs
- Nature's Path Organic peanut butter & cocoa puffs cereal
- Dark chocolate covered almonds

As a treat, occasionally you can also try some vegan organic candy, like lollipops, gummi candies, etc.

Desserts are also fine, in moderation :)

I hope this helps ♥
