How Much Does GameFly Charge?

Gamefly is a little expensive at $22.95 per month, but it's by and large the most convenient way to rent games. You get a new game approximately 3-5 days after sending one back, now that they have more warehouses around. Membership also gives you access to free shipping on any used games, as well as discounts and coupons after you've been a member for a while. It's fast, reliable, and they almost always have any game in stock. (Just be sure it's the only thing on your list if it's a brand new game. They may get it back in from someone tomorrow, but if they don't have it immediately, they'll send you the first thing on your Q that they can immediately send out. Don't get too caught up in the complaints. You just need to use that trick, and the games will be sent out in a few days. Just get the 2 game plan and you'll never be wanting for something to play.) Overall, it's the best mail-rental service.

By the way, if you haven't used someone's referral code already, consider using mine. It benefits me as well as giving you an extra month of gamefly. http://a.tellapal.com/a/bU8zZl

HELP!!!!!!!!A Long distance phone company has a monthly fee of $7.95 and charges a rate of $0.05 per minute. ?

7.95 + .05x = company 1
9.95 + .03x = company 2
set them equal to each other...
7.95 + .05x = 9.95 + .03x (and solve for x)
.02x = 2.00 (multiply both sides by 100 and you get...)
2x = 200.
x = 100 minutes.
plug in 100 minutes in each equation, and you will see that at 100 minutes, both companies will charge $12.95.

Lost my costco card. How to get it replaced?

Hi,

I just moved and in the move I lost my costco card.
I was wondering how you get it replaced?
Do you go to a costco and they have your information on file?
I can't go to the one I originally signed up to because I am living in another town several hours away now.
Before I make the 40 minute drive to Costco I'm just curious to see if they'll make me a new card lol... also are there extra fees involved?
Thanks!

I'm thinking of stealing my dads credit card...?

I really want to buy a membership to this one game online... My mom or dad will never do it or even let me pay for it... I was thinking if I took their credit card and buy it would they notice it? Its only $7.95. Would they notice $7.95 in a month? I indirectly asked my mom once and she said she really only looks at big costs on her bills not really any -$30.00 costs. Please help anyone I really dont want to do it if I will definetly get caught but they don't know the name of the game either... Ill give 10 points to most helpful answer too :)

Is MoviePass a scam or legit?

For context, MoviePass is a subscription service that promises “unlimited” movies in theaters (one 2D movie per day) for $9.95 a month.It’s not a scam - it’s a legitimate business that (for now) is able to provide the service that it promises. It’s a risky business for sure, but it’s legitimate. My significant other and I have successfully used it 7 times since joining the service in October.It only sounds “too good to be true” because people readily overestimate the extent to which they can take advantage of the service. The average amount of usage per customer is approximately break-even. This is supported by an interview with Ted Farnsworth, the CEO of Helios and Matheson Analytics (the majority owner of Moviepass).[1]There is absolutely potential for Moviepass to identify supplemental sustainable business models. As a start, Moviepass can influence and track the purchasing behavior of hundreds of thousands of consumers, and that by itself is already tremendously valuable. For example:Kickbacks: negotiating a cut of ticket sales and / or concessions.Advertising: digital advertising for moviesSelling more things: selling merchandise, selling concessionsPartnerships: with banks, movie studios, and movie theatersData: data on movie watching behavior is valuable to advertisersMany of these additional revenue streams are mentioned in the interview I link from the footnotes. Moviepass has the subscriber base already, and it needs to execute on these new revenue opportunities while not falling too much into debt. It’s not a scam, just an interesting and risky business model.If you still have your doubts, check out my answer to Is MoviePass worth it?Footnotes[1] MoviePass And Helios: Executive Interview

When negotiating a price on a new non-luxury car in the United States should I always go for the MSRP or should I allow the sales person to make a decent commission so I get better service?

Your premise that paying more gets you better service is FALSE based on nearly every publication that advises how to buy a car, new or used. Sales and service are rarely connected at a dealership. I can guarantee you that a dealer will never sell you a car for less than they wanted to sell it for. They know their costs, their manufacturer targets for the month that will get them a bigger rebate, their interest costs to have cars on the lot, etc. and will only sell a car at a price that makes sense to them.The answer is somewhat complex and there are urban myths out there like the one you mentioned in your question. Go to http://cars.com and read how to buy a car. My favorite is Consumer Reports, both for step-by-step guidance on how to buy a car and car ratings. Whenever I have a major purchase, I subscribe to Product Reviews and Ratings for one month for $7.95 and then do not renew after I make my purchase. I used to have an annual subscription for around $60 annually, but no longer purchase enough or have time to read it. The knowledge was nice and being able to help someone when they were buying something.Car dealers love people who pay MSRP. My philosophy is that dealers make their money on those people (and I know some who even ask what additional costs there are on the sticker price) and let me buy for less. I believe if the dealer is smiling when I leave that I paid too much. That said, I also stand by my statement that the dealer never sells for less than they want to. Do they sometimes lose money on a sale? According to podcasts and car buying guidance, they sometimes do on an individual sale, but it is to hit a rebate level for cars sold in the month to increase their total profit for the month.One last item. I do not negotiate on price. I know what I should pay for the car. I know which car or cars I want to buy. I go to a dealer and tell them the cars I am interested in and the dealers I am going to. I tell them I want their best price and will do the same with the other dealers. Since it is there best price, I know they cannot do better and will not play one dealer off against another as it is their best price and they cannot go lower. I have, at times, also brought ads in from the newspaper if lower than suggested purchase prices from http://cars.com and Product Reviews and Ratings, to get a dealer to match another dealer’s price in their best price.Good luck!
