How Did Cain Velasquez Lose The First Fight Against Junior Dos Santos

How would a UFC fight go between Jon Jones and Cain Velasquez?

Honestly, MMA is one of the hardest sports to accurately predict. Fighters are constantly evolving (the beautifully executed wheel kick Cain landed on Browne at UFC200 for example. Never seen him do that before AND it looked perfect) and are rarely the same fighter they were in even their last fight. MMAth doesn't work, fighter A beat fighter B, and fighter B beat fighter C so fighter A should beat fighter C rarely works out that way. However I will give you my opinion. I'm considering a perfectly healthy Cain and Jon. In that scenario I feel Jones may very well get mauled. Cain is significantly bigger (which does matter at the elite level) and is a world class wrestler, remember Brock was unable to hold him down for more than a few seconds. Generally the fighter who is the better wrestler can dictate where the fight happens and I see Cain taking him down and just wearing him out with his vicious ground and pound fueled by his ridiculous cardio.Jones best chance for a victory would be on the feet utilizing his long reach and unorthodox striking to try and catch Cain. But Cain is certainly no slouch on his feet and I think it would be easier for Cain to take Jon down and pound him out, than for Jon to catch Cain with something on the feet. But again, who knows?

Would Deontay Wilder survive a fight with Cain Velasquez or Junior Dos Santos?

Would Deontay Wilder survive a fight with Cain Velasquez or Junior Dos Santos?Let us presume that the question really means win the fight, or at least to avoid being knocked out or submitted.Cain Vasquez and Junior Dos Santos are very massive champion MMA fighters. Let us consider the following scenarios:In a street fight or an MMA contest. Vasquez or Santos enter the fight with several different fighting skills, while Wild Wilder Wildest is vastly superior in punching ability. Wilder’s great reach advantage gives him an outside chance of winning by KO, but the MMA guys should prevail by throwing Wilder off guard with kicks, rushing through his defense, and throwing him down. Once he is on the ground Wilder would be a sitting duck for a chokeout, or a ground and pound annihilation. In a boxing match. Wilder, despite his rather crude technique, has enough reach, handspeed, and punching power to make this no contest. He would win by KO very early, probably the first round.

Is UFC Fighter Cain Velasquez is Invincible?

No fighter is invincible. Every major fighter who ever thought he was unbeatable has been beaten. Look at Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, and Fedor Emelianenko. They all talked a good game for years about how they could not be beaten, and all of them were eventually beaten "several times." Not only that, but Cain Velasquez was beaten by Junior Dos Santos several years ago. Even though Junior Dos Santos has lost to Cain Velasquez a few times, Cain is still getting older and slower. No one can say for certain how long Velasquez will stay on top, but if he fights long enough he "will" lose again. That's a fact.

If Brock Lesnar Fought Junior Dos Santos Who Would Win?

Lesnar would be TKO'd again. The top contenders of the division will be Carwin, Velasquez, Dos Santos, Overeem, Silva, and Werdum

K-1 Rules Junior Dos Santos vs Semmy Schilt?

If you don't know K-1 Rules - 3x3 Minute rounds + 2 extension rounds IF NEEDED. Kickboxing rules and gloves, Sweeps are allowed but DO NOT score points. Knees allowed but NOT ALLOWED in 2Hand Thai Clinch (Allowed in single hand). 1 Strike in clinch then they must break or referee will seperate. No groin strikes and the regular rules.

UFC doesn't have any big guys like Schilt who can test JDS's gap closing skills. Well they have Struve but he is trash at keeping the distance. To me this always an interesting test for a fighter.... much like seeing a fighter go against a GOOD wrestler for the first time... except way more exciting.

WHO WINS? AND HOW?

Honestly I got to go with Schilt KO R3

Who should Daniel Cormier fight next?

As Cormier is planning on retirement Personally I'd like to see him rematch Jon Jones at heavyweight. Obviously Jon Jones would have to step up from light heavyweight for this fight.Daniel Cormier is unbeaten at heavyweight, the only person to ever beat him is Jon Jones (at light heavyweight). So it would be interesting to see if the outcome would be different at Heavyweight.I'd personally like to see him avenge his 2 Losses (1 Loss and one No contest) to JJ.If DC beat Jones he would then be in consideration as possibly the GOAT. As Jones has question marks due to his repeatedly failed PED tests. One Alternative that seems likely is Brock Lesnar, that would be the money fight, but I expect Cormier would beat him pretty easily. From a fight fans point of View the Jon Jones rematch at Heavyweight or possibly the rematch with Stipe would make the most sense. As he would have a chance to avenge his losses to Jones and Stipe holds the record for Heavyweight title defences so is deserving of a rematch.Personally I would definitely be more excited about the Jones fight at Heavyweight, where Cormier seems more suited to fight.

Brock Lesnar or Cain Velasquez?

Brock Lesnar every day of the week.

Here's how I see it,

1. They are both wrestlers but Brock was Div 1 in a much heavier weight class. If you don't think strength plays a factor in wrestling you are sadly mistaken.

2 Brock has a granite chin, if he can take the best Shane Carwin can give for a full round then Cain has little chance power wise.

3. Weight difference, having someone as heavy as Brock on your chest punching you in the face is gonna have a long term effect.

Love him or hate him Lesnar is just gonna get better and better.

Brock 2nd round TKO.

If it was a fight to the death, would the MMA world champion (or kung fu/karate/etc. world champion) have a chance against 1.98 m boxer Wladimir Klitschko (world champion)?

Let's see...Most heavyweights (not just the champion Cain Velasquez) would kill Wladimir Klitschko.  This includes guys like Junior Dos Santos, Travis Browne, Shane Carwin, etc.  Maybe even guys like Roy Nelson.Even most of the light heavyweights (including the champ Jon Jones) would have no problem beating up Wladimir Klitschko.  Now if we talk about the middleweights, many of them such as Chris Weidman, Anderson Silva, Lyoto Machida, etc. would beat Klitschko. Now if we talk about the really small guys...Georges St. Pierre, Jonny Hendricks, etc. would also beat Klitschko.Even some of the lightweights such as Benson Henderson, Anthony Pettis, etc. would beat Klitschko. So now you're left with the tiny guys...Jose Aldo, TJ Dillashaw, Mighty Mouse, etc...and the fight would get a little closer because even if these guys take Klitschko down and mount him, he can probably figure out a way to push out with some minimal MMA training.  But you know what?  even these guys would beat him.Klitschko has a glass chin (watch the Corrie Sanders (RIP) fight) and he's hard to punch when boxing but take him down and throw some hammer fists to his face and he'd be out.
