How Did Your Favorite Team Do This Weekend. Nfl Or College

What if your favorite college player was drafted by the NFL team you hate the most!?

I would just root for the player but not for the team and hope he gets traded or signs with another team when his contract expires. If it were the other way around I would not care as much as long as he was good since he would have a chance to redeem himself, even though I have more loyalty in college then the NFL.

What is your favorite top 3 college football team?

1. Texas
2. Whoever is playing nOU that week.
3. Whoever is playing USC that week.

45-35
Enough Said!

Hook'em!!!

What made your favorite college football team your favorite team?

I moved from Chicago, where I was born to North Alabama, when I was seven years old, to be nearer to my mother’s family, which is very large. One of the first things that my cousins did was inform me that I had to choose a team: Alabama or Auburn. (It really DOES work exactly like that) Most of my cousins favored Alabama. Tuscaloosa is closer to Muscle Shoals and Bear Bryant was already a coaching legend. That fall was one of the most memorable Iron Bowls ever: Punt, Bama, Punt. Alabama was favored, of course, being undefeated and ranked #2 and it really looked like they would win, leading 16–0 heading into the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, Auburn blocked two punts in that last quarter, returning both for touchdowns and and winning 17–16.Seven-year-old me was completely overcome with emotion and I cried myself to sleep that night. Before that game, I had only a very loose and mild affection for Alabama. But that night was born in my heart a burning hate for Auburn that has never quelled. I became a die-hard Alabama fan that night.Today, more than 45 years later, I can still bring myself to tears just by thinking about that game. And my hate for Auburn is born anew.Like Irwin Carney, I hate Tennessee too. But my chief loathing is for Auburn. And that’s why I am an Alabama fan to this day.OH, BTW, I am also an alumni: Class of 1991.

How will your favorite NFL team do this season?

The Detroit Lyins will finish last in an improving NFC central. The main reason for this is an ownership that has no idea how to field a competitive squad. The new head coach is already being panned by a very sympathetic hometown media. I don’t hold out much hope for Stafford playing all sixteen as the line has left tackle issues. The best lineman is a rookie who will start the season playing out of position. Although the secondary will be solid, I’m hoping the front seven hold up.Clearly, the Lyins are capable of making the playoffs. If you switched the Pats team for the Lyins, Belichick would have a very good chance of getting deep in the playoffs. How would the new Lyins do in Ford Field? But it’s a numb skull ownership that hired a chauffeur, a bean counter, a TV analysts, and his crony as GMs.Watching the Lyins year end and out for the last 51 years I have become jaded. But just because you’re jaded, doesn’t mean the team is passable. In this case, I expect the worst, and hope for the best.

Should I remain a fan of my favorite NFL team?

LISTEN HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT.I am a Dolphins fan through living in Miami, Cowboys fan through my stepdad loving them, and Ravens fan because…well, you guessed it.I was a Cowboys fan when we went 4–12 last year.I was a Dolphins fan when we went 1–15 in 2007.I was a Ravens fan when we went 5–11 last year.I was a Cowboys fan when we went 13–3 and attained the team with one of the brightest futures in recent history.I was a Dolphins fan when we made the playoffs this year for the first time since 2008 and when we got the greatest single-season turnaround in history in 2008.I was a Ravens fan when we won the Super Bowl. Still have no fucking clue how we got here.I am a Heat fan. Die hard. We’re not making the playoffs. We might not even get a high draft pick either.I am a Marlins fan. We had a losing record last year. We just lost our ace. We’re Dolphins fans. We made the playoffs. At least you’re not a Browns fan.

I cant Choose a favorite NFL Team!!!!!?

Fans generally end up being fans of teams that are on TV every week in their area while growing up. Those teams tend to be covered by the local sports media so you get to know a lot about the players and coaches.

Many fans pick the same team of whom their families are already fans. That happens for both NFL teams and college teams.

Sometimes you might like a particular player or even a coach and become a fan of his team. I became a fan of Mean Joe Green and Earl Campbell when they were in college and later their NFL teams, the Steelers and the Oilers.

There is a saying that you don't pick a favorite team, the team picks you. That comes from watching games and reading about the teams.

Just relax, watch football, eat pizza, drink beer (if you're old enough), and enjoy the games. You'll find yourself favoring one team or another.

How do people decide on their favorite NFL team?

Who is your favorite NFL team? Also what about college football team? Any tips for a girl who is wanting to get more into football (watching not playing) but has no idea where to start?

How do college teams travel?

The biggest college teams, with deep, deep pockets, seem to create schedules for themselves that dictate flying. In many cases, the school will actually charter an aircraft for the season from an airline like Delta. That way, when Southern Cal has to visit Notre Dame, they have not only an airplane, but the same airplane, often specially reconfigured inside for the size of the athletes traveling. But when Oklahoma plays Oklahoma State, for example, they most likely travel by Highway coach; again, it may be one specially configured- actually three or four or more coaches to move a team. You really have to look at who the teams are, that is, the size of the school doing the traveling, and how far they are going . I’m pretty sure, for instance, when Duke played Northwestern on Saturday, they flew. I’m pretty sure when Michigan State played Arizona State on Saturday, they flew.

Who is your favorite NCAA football team?

Oklahoma Sooners!!I am studying at The University of Oklahoma and this is the obvious choice. We have the best offense in the country and manage atleast 30 points every game no matter who we play even against TCU which was the 6th best defense of the country. We play in such an electrifying atmosphere at the Gaylord Memorial Stadium and I just fell in love with the deafening reception which scares the best of opponents. And the last reason:-Baker Mayfield- just incredible and favorite for the Heisman Trophy.

Is it strange for an NFL player to be drafted to their favorite team’s rival? For example, a Raiders fan gets drafted by the Broncos.

No because you get drafted by whom ever picks you so most rivals are within division so that make 3/32 teams that would be rivals that pick you and most teams have at least 7 picks sometimes more so your odds(math is pretty general and not entirely accurate) assuming that the rivals has only 7 picks would be 21 out of 254(This number will depend on compensatory picks). In reality that will be give and take because some teams loose draft picks by trading up or penalty as well as down to get more picks. So I don’t think it’s that strange
