How Do I Add A Word To The Dictionary

If you could add a new word to the dictionary what would it be?

@ chubb cub or wat eva it is sorry i keep trying to memorise it but dosen't work anyway lolz that flubbelub or wat eva made me hear a voice in my head goin "flubbaadubdub lubalub" lol crazy or wat

Do you think they would add this word to the dictionary and why?

Zillion is not actually a real number, so a zillisecond would definitely not be a mathematical term.

At best, it could be used like the real word zillion, where zillion represents an indefinitely large number and a zillisecond would be an indefintely small portion of a second.

But in that way, you could also say any fake number-eth of a second. Like a gagillisecond (gagillion) or a bazillisecond (bazillion) and so on.

What word would you like to add to the English dictionary?

Yeah, you saw it perfectly; that’s my word.Lify – meaning: a feeling or a characteristic that either resembles life or is life itself. How can you use it?1. As a characteristic that makes life what it actually is.For example, If you take all the nail-biting moments out of your life, your life doesn't remain lify anymore.Coming out the roller coaster ride I realized that I just had the most lify moment of my life.A little bit of time wastage to a disciplined lifestyle can make it a little more lify. Etc.2. As a feeling, obviously. When you are doing something that is truly good; for say you find a little girl on the street who asks you for money but you take her to a restaurant and eat with her by her side. And then she calls you ‘bhaiya’.When you have a ‘finally’ moment; for say your beloved stays in the other side of the country and you finally meet her after 3 years; and she runs to your side and blasts you with hugs. When you are doing something that you are terribly passionate about; for say you love reading thrillers and you’re mid way through Da Vinci code when you come to know that the bloodline of Jesus exists till date. When you’re alone, and then suddenly you spot something lify; if you are used to being alone then you’ll be more familiar with this feeling. People who do not have company have to count on such feelings to keep being motivated at life.In all such situations, if someone pops out of nowhere and confronts you with a question ‘Hey how do you feel?’ you can put a confident smile and say. ‘Bro, I feel lify.’Why did I coin this word?Well at times when I am walking through a desolate campus highway beneath the canopy of dark leafy shades partially illuminated by yellow lights; often with my earphones plugged in to soft music; I feel something; something that doesn't have a suitable representation in the English Dictionary. And so I resolve to give that feeling a name. And finally following a discussion with my best friend I feel that I was feeling lify....So, if you too feel that lify is perhaps the best way to describe such situations, then I wish that the New Year crowds your life with such lify moments.Wish you a lify life.Sinplexia.

What new words would you add to the Oxford English Dictionary?

New words to be added are WAGs (Wives and Girlfriends) of footballers, and also "McJob", to denote a low-paid exploitative job for 17 year olds, so why now "Mc Wee" or "Mc Poo" as well, for when you only use their loo?

What words would you like added to see in the OED?

How do I add words the Yahoo email spell check dictionary?

Short answer: You CAN'T!!!
Adding words is not an option in the Yahoo! spell checker.

However, if you use Mozilla Firefox, you can install dictionary extensions in many different languages and add to them just by right-clicking and selecting "Add to dictionary" or "Languages" > "Add to dictionary", depending on the context.

Why won't Microsoft let me add more words to the dictionary?

This is from Word's Help. See if it works:
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Spelling & Grammar tab.
Click Custom Dictionaries.
Click New.
In the File name box, type a name for the custom dictionary.
Click Save.
In the Dictionary list box, select the new custom dictionary.
Activate the custom dictionary.
