How Do I Advise One Mail Sender Only That I Am Overseas. I Receive Mail From Others But Do Not

I am not receiving my emails?

I noticed you had an email address in your account which your Yahoo emails were being sent to. I've removed that for you, so emails sent to your Yahoo Mail account will now arrive normally again! Unfortunately, emails forwarded away from your Yahoo Mail account are not able to be restored to your Yahoo Mail account.

If you are still not receiving emails to your Yahoo Mail account, I recommend checking out the Yahoo! Help article "I'm not receiving some or all emails" available at:

http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...

I hope this helps you!

When I receive mail in my P.O box, Am I notified at my home address?

When I receive mail in my P.O box, Am I notified at my home address?
I'm planning on getting a PO box soon because I'm tired of people that I live with going through my mail.
If I get a PO box, will I receive any notifications to my home address when I have mail waiting for me?

Also, would there be any way to be notified by email or phone instead of a letter or slip to my home address?
I'm rarely home.
Thanks!

What happens to my mail if I don't renew my PO box in time.?

They will hold the mail for a short while. I did the exact same thing a few years ago. At some point they will forward the mail to your alternate address. It would be a good idea to call your post office ask them how long they will hold the mail.

How long does the post office store undelivered packages?

Once you receive a notice that your package could not be delivered then you have 15 days before it is returned. Express packages are returned in 5 days. You will receive another notice in a few days but if you are expecting a package & you don’t want it to be returned because you are going out of town then put your mail on hold. We can hold your mail up to 30 days.

I received this email from Holy spirit today ...what to do?

100% scam.

There is no one dying of cancer who has millions to give to some charity and needs an overseas partner's bank account to help process the money.

There is only a MALE scammer trying to steal your hard-earned money by using a fake story, stolen pictures and pretending to be several characters.

The next email was from one of the scammer's fake names and free email addresses pretending to be the "minister/banker/barrister" and has demanded you pay for made-up money transfer, document, certificate, stamp and bank fees, in cash, and only by Western Union or moneygram.

Western Union and moneygram do not verify anything on the form the sender fills out, not the name, not the street address, not the country, not even the gender of the receiver, it all means absolutely nothing. The clerk will not bother to check ID and will simply hand off your cash to whomever walks in the door with the MTCN# and question/answer. Neither company will tell the sender who picked up the cash, at what store location or even in what country your money walked out the door. Neither company has any kind of refund policy, money sent is money gone forever.

Now that you have responded to a scammer, you are on his 'potential sucker' list, he will try again to separate you from your cash. He will send you more emails from his other free email addresses using another of his fake names with all kinds of stories of great jobs, lottery winnings, millions in the bank and desperate, lonely, sexy singles. He will sell your email address to all his scamming buddies who will also send you dozens of fake emails all with the exact same goal, you sending them your cash via Western Union or moneygram.

Whenever suspicious or just plain curious, google everything, website addresses, names used, companies mentioned, phone numbers given, all email addresses, even sentences from the emails as you might be unpleasantly surprised at what you find already posted online. You can also post/ask here and every scam-warner-anti-fraud-busting site you can find before taking a chance and losing money to a scammer.

If you google "fake next-of-kin scam", "fraud inheritance Western Union scam", "fake dying widow scam", "fraud romance scammer" or something similar you will find hundreds of posts from victims and near-victims of this type of scam.

Does USPS deliver mail and packages to PO Boxes?

Post office boxes are a major location for receiving mail in the United States. For some people in certain rural areas, P.O. boxes are the only option for receiving mail. For others, they are a convenient choice, perhaps because their business is located near a post office. But receiving your mail in a post office box comes with certain disadvantages, because not all mail can be delivered to a post office box.Anything sent via UPS cannot be delivered to a post office box. UPS requires a physical address. According to the UPS website, "We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If a shipper should use a P.O. Box address, the recipient´s telephone number must be included on the label." The phone number allows the UPS driver to telephone the recipient and arrange for a home delivery.Related Products and ServicesService Info TabLarge PackagesMany packages are just too large to fit in a post office box. In most cases, as long as the package was sent to the P.O. box address via the US Postal Service, the package will remain on the premises of that post office for the recipient to pick up in person. Generally, a slip will be placed in the recipient's box indicating that the package is being held. In some cases, the sender of a particular technological product, like an i-Pad or i-Phone, will not deliver their products to a P.O. box address.Signature RequiredWith certain legal documents and other certified mail requiring the recipient's signature, the local post office will, as with large packages, place a slip in the post office box asking the recipient to sign the proper forms at the desk during regular business hours.Time is of the EssenceAccording to the US Postal Service website, while "all" mail classes and types can be sent to a box, the recipient has a limited window -- a required number of business days -- in which to pick up the package or the package will go back to its sender. This creates problems when you are away on vacation. As the U.S. Postal Service website states, "If the item requires a signature, a notice will be left. If the second attempt is unsuccessful, the item will be returned to the sender after the required number of business days have elapsed."

Can you return a package to a sender without paying the USPS charges?

ALL OF THE ABOVE PERSONS ARE LYING OR NOT EDUCATED IN CONSUMER LAW. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OPEN THE ITEM AND SUMMARILY INSPECT IT AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY BEFORE ACCEPTING IT.The reason is obvious: the box may be empty, the product may be broken in half - and you don’t want to pay return shipping or even have such an item in your possession marked as “delievered” because in fact it was never delivered (not as contracted, in one piece, etc).Obviously in todays “efficient and lying world” carriers do not wish to wait for you to open the package (or just leave it at door if your not home), and MIGHT lie to you if your returning saying “we don’t do free returns” (this may or may not happen to you - the standard is that because they did not allow you to inspect it at delivery time that they honor it back as “un-delivered” without charge - though they’d MUCH appreciate it if you left it at their brick and mortar location than demand they come get it, please). There are several forms of shipping, your rights vary depending, however if not stated by (seller/shipper), the default form (consumer friendly) is legally active. The default form/law of shipping does NOT allow you to return to sender (free or non-free) unless, as above, the product has a hidden defect. You should check with the seller and shipper first: because if it is determined your responsible for a “false return”, they could bill you extra on top of (for large items, this could be a big mistake).I’m completely serious. All other posters are industry trolls hoping USA citizens will be mis-informed about their rights.citations: Ralph Nader (consumer advocate) and consumer law books at the library
