How Do I Allocate More Ram To My Nvidia Gt 430 Graphics Card

Would a "ZOTAC NVIDIA GT 730 2GB DDR5 PCI-e” graphics card add any advantage for my Intel i5 4th Gen and ASUS A88XM-E motherboard with 8GB RAM configuration?

First, one of the main advantage of having a dedicated gpu is it does not shares memory from your ram like an intel based gpu. So your system feels more responsive.Secondly, having a dedicate memory is more closer to the actual gpu core makes it more throughput efficient since gpu and memory are on the same logic board compared to cpu and ram which are connected through the motherboard.Third, gpu are architectured heavily in a parallel processing way which really makes sense as compared to a dual or quad core cpu. Nvidia GPU these days contains more than 1000 cuda cores that crunch out great performance out of the core.So a dedicated gpu would make sense even if it a cheap one and provides same performance that of the integrated gpu.

Will it be worth it if I buy an SLI 4 Nvidia graphics card just to play Minecraft?

I play a lot of heavily modded Minecraft, and a decent amount of vanilla. Most of the heavy lifting is in the Java code base, so the things that you can do to help there are more cores, a lot more RAM, and tweaking the JVM launch parameters to allocate a lot more RAM than “default” to the JVM.As far as graphics go, you’re good with anything better than an AMD R7 or NVIDIA 960. You are probably just fine with the built-in Intel HD graphics on the last couple of generations of CPUs for that matter. But not enough CPU? Or not enough RAM? That’s gonna eat your lunch.

How do you increase the video memory on a laptop with intel HD graphics?

I have solved this! heres how! this is updated with a 6th gen intel processor with intel HD 520 graphics!you guys. i have the problem and the answer. “dedicated” video cards use their own ram for max performance. so your CPU can use its own ram, while the graphics card can do the same. “integrated” graphics uses the systems memory. therefore it is very limited. but here is what i found out. yes only ASUS lets you switch the amount of memory it uses in the BIOS. but that doesn't mean you cant give your GPU more memory. here is an example. lets just say i have an I5 6th gen processor from Intel. the standard integrated GPU is HD 520. and i have 8 GB of ram. the graphics card can only use so much of that ram. so it limits itself within the files of the system. so right now i have 512 MB of vram on the card. i use to have 128 MB because i changed the amount you can use. so the system automatically gives the graphics card a specified limit. if you have 2 GB of ram, the system would give you maybe 64 MB. 4 GB is 128 MB. and 8 GB is 512 MB. and 16 GB is more likely to be 1–2 GB of vram. i have 8 GB of ram and it gave me 128 MB of vram. but after watching a video i tried to do what the video did. and it didn't work. so i watched another one and it didn't work. so then i thought. well maybe if i do them both and see what results i get. it should work. and it did. now since i only have 8 GB of ram. my computer limited me to 512 MB. but when i first got the computer i had 128 MB. so in the video i created it doesn't change at the end. that is because i tried to bump it up to 1 GB but my computer didn't allow it. but it did work for me. for those of you who may have the hp star wars edition laptop without the nvidia graphics card. you will see that you have 128 MB of memory. so watch this video because this did actually work! also subscribe if it worked for you too! I don't know wheres my graphic card name on here but i would like for you to help me. Thanks.. I want to know if i can upgrade my graphic card if i can which one should i choose so i won't burnout my desktop computer thanks.

My laptop has an AMD A8-6410 with an integrated Radeon R5 graphics. It shows that it has kept 512 MB of memory as a dedicated graphics memory. Will increasing the RAM increase the dedicated graphics memory size too?

Despite of people here saying it will not increase, my answer is YES.I have the same APU.People need to understand that the APUs have something different than the general CPUs.Accelerated Processing Units have the GPU integrated directly on the CPU and in this case the AMD A8 6410 has R5 Graphics and they utilize Ram for functioning.I tried this myself before posting here, although I had absolutely no doubts about it.For instance, if you use 2 GB of ram, then the dedicated Vram will change to a mere 256MB, using 4 GB of Ram changes the Vram to 512 MB.I tried using a 8GB Ram stick and what I found was that my Vram changed to 1 GB.But there can be a problem as well…If your motherboard can share only 512MB of Vram, then no matter how much Ram you add, it will only show 512MB of Dedicated Graphics Memory. I would suggest you to please confirm this from your Mobo vendor/support if your Mobo can share more Vram.In my case, there was no setting in Bios to change the Vram, so I am pretty sure that your’s wouldn’t have it as well. Please note: Faster Ram is better than More ram in case of APUs family.A 1833Mhz 4GB Ram will be better (if used dual channel it will be far better) then the 1333Mhz 8GB Ram.The point here is the same, if your Motherboard supports 2133 Mhz of Rams, then go for them for the best benefit of your APU.

I have AMD A8 APU with 1GB dedicated video memory, can addition of 1GB graphics card will make the dedicated video memory to 2GB?

Yours is an integrated APU, and video memory is shared from the main memory of your system. So if your system has 8GB of RAM, 7 is allocated for use by the CPU and 1 is allocated for use by your APU. This is similar to how even Intel Integrated Graphics work. However, there is no true direct way to expand this shared memory of 1GB.In certain few games like GTA IV and V, you can set a flag on the shortcut to override the amount of video memory it detects, and it will detect that you have more than 1GB of Video RAM. This is how I had made GTA IV playable on my college given business grade laptop with no dedicated graphics card, while almost every other person in college was puzzled how I did it. Since GTA IV was only detecting some 100 odd MBs of Video RAM, the graphics were heavily glitching and not loading, making the game unplayable. Since this was using my system RAM itself for VRAM, thsis tweak ran smoothly on my laptop with Intel HD 4000 Graphics. On other games, you're out of luck. You can try searching if any such flags are available on that game and make use of them if there are.

How do I increase the dedicated video memory for an AMD R5 M430 with 2GB VRAM?

You cannot.Graphics cards are shipped with a set amount of RAM installed onto them. You cannot increase the amount of RAM that they have.In you’re case, you are going to have to get an entirely new device because laptop graphics chips cannot be upgraded since they are soldered to the motherboard.

My Laptop has 2GB graphics memory. Do I need another graphics card of 2GB to run a game that requires 2GB graphics memory like GTA5?

You can't add a graphics card to a laptopThe level of performance that you get doesn't depend on the amount of VRAM your graphic card has. It depends on the number of shaders and execution units. For example, a 2gb GTX 940M can run GTA V at 1080p medium or low settings at a respectable framerate. On the other hand, the 4gb Radeon r5 430 may require the resolution to be decreased in order to play it at a decent setting. It all depends on the type of graphic card, not on the amount of memory it has. More graphic memory is needed for stuff like playing games on a dual screen.

How do I tune the NVIDIA GeForce 940M to its maximum capacity?

You can overclock this GPU but only slightly, and you will be voltage locked. I have overclocked my core +135mhz and my memory to +113mhz. I used a program called NVIDIA inspector for this purpose.NVIDIA Inspector Download version 1.9.7.6

How do I increase dedicated video memory for my GeForce 6150SE nForce 430?

You can't. The dedicated memory is physically separate video ram. Nothing you can do to alter it.
