How Do I Authorize My Computer To Itunes

How to authorize your computer for itunes?

go onto itunes and then be sure to check that you are logged into your apple ID. Then, somewhere in settings, it asks questions about which devices you want authorized from itunes, then check all that apply! Hope this helps!

How come my ITunes keeps asking me to authorize my computer and won't sync my Ipod classic?

Somewhere in iTunes you can find your account settings, where it lists what computers are authorized. You should find that and delete your computer from the list. Then close out of itunes, reboot the computer and go back into iTunes and add your computer back into the authorized list. Some stupid little piece of data is probably caught up somewhere and removing / re-adding your computer to the authorized list might fix it. If not probably have to reinstall or update iTunes. If you need to uninstall/reinstall, make sure you find out how to backup your iTunes library or you'll probably loose everything.

Itunes help??? authorizing computers?

So i figured out a way to send songs from my itunes library to my friends computer, for her to put in her library.

but she is scared to "authorize" my computer because she doesn't know what it means. the message she got is:

"this computer is not authorized to play shut me up. would you like to authorize it? to play this song you must authorize this computer to play songs purchased using the account (my account name). you may authorize up to 5 computers for each account"

(the song i sent was shut me up)

So what does this message mean? Why must tunes be so unsafe and unsure *sigh*

Why does iTunes say my computer is not authorized?

in iTunes click on Accounts then Authorizations and click on Authorize this computer, may need password ETC. don’t do this on any computer but your own under your control. its doing this because the computer is not Authorized to use your Account with iTunes.

How do I authorize the apps on a used iTouch to my iTunes/computer?

Your computer can only be authorized one account t a time, and to download her apps you WOULD have needed to authorize it using her iTunes account, which means you will no longer be able to play the songs or games you had before because those are YOUR accounts songs, not hers. A single Apple account can be used to authorize up to I think 5 computers, so that they can play your purchased items, but because that's not that case you will be unable to save them to your computer.

The reason why they do this is because Apple doesn't want its users to just be able to share data between one person or another because then they would lose money (just like how my iPad can't run flash, it's all about a copyright feud). You could Google "How to unauthorized a computer from iTunes", but I wouldn't suggest that at all.

Good luck.
