How Do I Block Match.com

Can you tell if you've been blocked on Match.com?

A man and I were emailing and had discussed meeting for a drink. He emailed to confirm and I didn't see it until the next day. I answered saying we didn't confirm and asked where the place was that he suggested meeting at. He never responded. The whole day passes and I send another email saying I'd be very upset it I am getting stood up. He finally answers and asks for my cell number, which I decline. I think it's safer to meet in public than to give out my number (which I've had to change before). Anyway, he didn't like that because I never heard back.

So, it's pathetic I know but I sent quite a few emails after that day since I was so confused and angry. We had a good connection online and I have no idea why all of a sudden the shift. He hasn't answered any of my emails and I wonder if he blocked me. I added him to my list of favorites befoee all this and I can still see his profile there, so does that mean I'm not blocked. He doesn't show up in my mutual matches search, but if I type in his username, I can see his profile,

Does this sound like I've been blocked or am just being blown off?

What are the best Match.com hacks?

One thing I have seen men do is use an app to put their phone numbers on their pics, which they upload and take a free trial subscription. If you were really interested, you could then text him and never have to go through Match. In my own personal opinion, though, if a guy won’t pony up the minimal amount of money to pay for a subscription, how cheap is he going to be on a date? Or am I going to end up paying for everything? So basically I’m not sure what type of woman that hack is going to attract.

How do you block 'match.com' ads off email account?

I want "match.com" ads OFF my email page! They pop up randomly, completely cover the screen so I can't do anything! It disables all email function - there is no way to x it out or escape from the entire page being covered with the ad. I have to completely log out and in again to get out of it!! I consider this invasive and predatory advertising! Very inflammatory!!

When I go to the ad opt-out program, it does not allow me to opt out of match.com without opting out of all yahoo ads. I don't have any problem with routine yahoo ads; if this is the only way to get rid of them, I will do so, but was hoping to avoid that.

Can I block myself from showing up in someone's searches in match.com?

I just saw someone I know show up in one of my searches in match.com. Under no circumstances do I want that person to know that I'm on match.com. If that person does a search, there's a likelihood that I would show up in her searches just as she has showed up in mine. Now, I want to block myself from showing up in her searches. Merely blocking her from emailing me or winking at me or even viewing my profile won't help, she's still going to see my picture show up in her searches! So how could there not be a way around this, it's like the most simplest thing to ask for. I just want to COMPLETELY block that member. Any way to do this?

Is match.com free to use?

No, not really. Yes, you can download the app and set up a profile for free. If you wanna make use of the interesting functionality and actually chat with someone, then that's all behind a (pretty expensive) pay wall.

On the dating site Match.com, what does "Block from search" mean?

On the dating sight Match.com, what does "Block from search" mean? Does it mean that you want to prevent that person from being listed in your search results, or does it mean you want to prevent your own profile from being listed in their search results? Or both?
