How Do I Cancel Unpopular Mailaddress Or Protect This Behind The Firewall

Is there a way to check if an e-mail address is valid without e-mailing it?

Yup, through email verification tools.Email verification tools validate email addresses, protecting your sender reputation. They detect and remove known abuse and spam trap emails, bounced emails, temporary addresses, invalid ones, and catch-all domains. Here are some examples: Kleber, Bounceless, Email Hippo, and NeverBounce. However, free email validation tools have limitations. Some allow only for a one-time bulk verifications. The others allow a number of monthly requests. For instance, Hunter dot (io) only allows up to 100 requests a month. And .csv download is not permitted. Because of this, you should expect to do a bit of the manual work with this method.Want to save yourself time and effort? You can opt to purchase only verified emails from a trusted database so you start with a clean list in the first place.Plus, doing this gives you access to a huge list of qualified emails quickly and without going through the hassle of building your own list. One such tool is UpLead.UpLead lets search email addresses using certain criteria like country, company, job title, and more.. This allows you to search for leads that are highly relevant to your user persona. Once you have set the search options, you are given a list that is composed of only verified email addresses. You can also directly export the list to your CRM.See how it saves you time?Lead prospecting tools are investments that will pay for themselves.Curious to give these tools a try instead of verifying your list using free tools, you can refer to our guide of 20 Sales Prospecting Tools to Close More Deals in 2019.

Email Worm Antivirus Cannot Find?

My Computer has recently begun sending emails to and unknown address and they are all labeled with names like "John D Floyd" "John E Floyd" John F Floyd" with the middle intial going up alphabetically. Im pretty sure i have an email worm infection but neither Windows Defender nor Norton Antivirus can find anything. I also cannot configure my firewall as it says "An Unspecefied Error has occurred" i can find the specific address by viewing computer logs but am otherwise clueless what to do. Any help is appreciated

Can someone hack you through an ip address?

You don't get hacked just because someone knows your IP address.
You get hacked if your machine has malware on it or if you have left services open to the public or if someone has obtained your passwords.

If you have properly updated firewall and anti-malware protection on, you have a strong WiFi password that you change regularly, and your router has a good Administrative password for its settings (read the router's owner's manual for instructions), then don't worry.

Which IP address did you change? The one that counts is the WAN IP address that your broadband modem uses to connect with your ISP. If you have changed that, there is no way that the person with your old IP address knows what new address your network connection is at.

You need to be realistic about how people can 'hack' you. It's not like television where people can enter your machine or smartphone in three seconds and take it over. If you have your machine properly secured and haven't left ports and services open to the outside (like remote access, ftp or web server, and any kind of file, printer or connection sharing), then there is no practical way someone can 'hack' your machine.

One thing for sure, do not visit a website, download or install anything that an unknown person tells you to do, whether in a pop up screen, over the phone or by email. Remember, if you install something yourself which turns out to be malware, you have invited it past all of your firewalls and security, http://www.computer-answers.ca/2012/inte...

A Trojan tricked me into a phony virus protection site. What happens to the info. I put in to the site?

I aquired the Trojan by trying to download activeX to see a video online. The virus was icthis.exe & icmnrt & it's gone because I did a system restore. But I'm worried about my identity, aspecialy if someone can get my social security number with my name address & phone number. Can they? I'm unsure. Also, what about them opening accounts in my name. Who knows what other info. they aquired while I was infected, passwords, & other info. They got my e-mail address to. I had the virus about 4-5 hours online before I killed it. I'm worried sick. Someone please tell me more about Trojan viruses.

If i buy an antivirus and i install it will the antivirus remove pre- existing spywares and virus?

Only single antivirus cannot help u out in tough situations ,
You need a combination of softwares to help protect ur PC .
Here is the combination that I use
Avast antivirus > Malwarebytes > Super Antispyware > Comodo Firewall .

u can use AVG or Avira FREE in place of Avast , thats ur choice
As Far as avast is concerned , u need to register for free , give them ur email address and they will send u a free licence key for avast (i.e. for 1 year ) and u are entitled to use the software for 1 year !

U can get the above on following addresses -
Avast - http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-...
AVG - http://www.free.avg.com/
Avira - http://www.free-av.com/

Malwarebytes - http://www.malwarebytes.org/

SuperAntispyware - http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html

Any one of the following Firewalls -

Comodo Firewall - http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/

Zone Alarm Free Firewall
http://www.zonealarm.com/security/en-us/zonealarm-pc-security-free-firewall.htm

These apps work in combo to protect ur PC , and provide rock solid protection against viruses ,and all are free !

Good Luck

Does anyone know how to remove huntbar toolbar spyware program from a computer?

For spyware solutions, Spybot Search & Destroy is great. If you are willing to try Microsoft's beta, consider MS Defender. Both are currently free.

Don't forget to always update the spyware definitions before scanning.

The best way to prevent spyware is to not go to suspicious websites, open unknown attachments, click on links from spam, etc. Also, clear your cookies and run your anti-spyware program from time to time.

Is there any free antivirus software as good as McAfee/Norton?

Yes, there are several of them freely available in the internet. I used this
http://www.free-av.com/ . It looks cheap but don't be fool by it, it really got a great virus scanner and it is very low on system resource so your computer won't be slow. I was using Norton 2008 that came with my new computer for 15 months. I took it off and I use that one.
There are other free one too but in my option and other computer magazine option, they don't stand up to Avira.

Use http://www.free-av.com/ is the best for free one.
