Is a Fantasy Football keeper league fun?
I won my fantasy football league this year, and I am the commish. I want to start doing a 1 player keeper league, but we vote on everything and I am afraid no one else will want to do it, so I ask: 1). Is it fun? 2) How can I convince them? Thanks!

Just go into commish tools and look through your options. You can manually set the draft order once everyone is on board - there's an option for that. And then you manually enter the keepers. Also, if you haven't set the league up yet, there may even be a way you can transfer settings from another platform. You'll see this option when you're setting up the league. If not, it doesn't take time to enter manually, but I'm pretty sure I saw it setting up my own leagues. Yahoo is very user friendly when it comes to the commish tools.
How do I change the time zone in my Yahoo Fantasy Football league?
same thing happened to me i didn't know what to do, i did exactly what you did and no luck. i had another league with my friends and all of a sudden it worked. I don't know what to tell you. Sorry :D
What are the rules for your fantasy football league?
I’m in three leagues, and all of them are different.Dynasty - 12-team contract bid league with a salary cap and rookie draft. It uses conventional scoring, and the only unusual roster slot is a superflex which effectively makes it a two-QB league. This league is not for anyone who hates to be constrained by salary limits.Keeper - 10-team league with five keepers each year. The scoring includes a half-point PPR and we start two QB’s. It’s a very competitive league, and we have had nine different winners in the ten years that it has been running. I have a real decision this year as to whether or not I keep Andrew Luck.Redraft - 10-team league with PPR scoring. I inherited a team from this league last year midway through the season. Most of the owners are in the same family, but they let in a few strays to keep it full.I’m looking to join a league that uses an auction draft, but it’s hard to find one where everyone is a dedicated player. The auction only works well if every team is present for the draft because the autodraft bots screw things up.I change my team name each year. My new team for 2018 is Lattimore’s Butt Pick (Butt Pickers for short).Good luck to all fantasy players this year.
My fantasy league is not allowing people to change their players?
Im the commish of the league and am having issues with people setting their line up. The following error comes up: There was a problem There was a temporary problem with the server. Please try again shortly. (Error #115) You are not the owner of this team. (Error #151) You cannot make changes to your roster for this date. (Error #157) The league has not drafted. You cannot make this action. (Error #156) Hopefully this is a server error, it wont let me make any changes in the commisioner settings. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks!
What do you do in your fantasy football ball league that makes it great?
I am not the commisioner in our Fantasy League, but for this season I am taking over for the commish. (He is wanting to focus on more personal things.)The one thing that we practice is that the commish is a representative of the people. In our league, we talk about changes to the league during the year and vote as a league. It helps to give everyone a voice in the process to make sure that everyone is having fun playing. They may not get their way, but they have been heard.In this offseason, we talked about turning it into a PPR format. This conversation started mid-season as one team wanted to start it right then. We shot that down quickly to keep continuity for a season. It was brought back up and was agreed to let it ride this season.*I was the lone no in the group, I hate PPR.When I took on the Acting Commish role, I had to fight the desire to shove PPR, but had to recognize I was the voice of the group and not a dictator. So, here we are running PPR. The next discussion is keepers/dynasty ideas. Our group loves being able to be an ACTIVE part of the League.The next thing that we do is that we have fun with winning/losing the league. We don’t do anything drastic like Tattoos or getting hit with Paintballs from each person. We do things like: Changing Profile Pics to I suck at Fantasy or having to wear a jersey of the winners team for a week.I think that these things are make a fantasy league great, it depends on what type of people make up your league. These are just some ideas that could help.
I'm new to fantasy basketball. are you supposed to change your lineup everyday or once a week?
it depends on your league's settings. it reads like (it says you change every monday) like it is a weekly line-up league. there are leagues that you can set daily. i'd bet somewhere on your team page there is a link to the settings, i'd look for that. i'm not familiar w/ nba.com leagues or if you can even make your own settings over there. most leagues on yahoo are daily changes. the default on yahoo is daily, you'd have to create a league (or join a custom league) & change the settings for a weekly change league. the advantages of a weekly change league is.... well i don't know of a good reason other than it's better for casual fans. the advantage of daily change is just that, you can still go in & set a line-up for the whole week w/out having to come on everyday BUT, you can play guys that have games one day & bench them for someone else on days they are off. another big advantage of daily changes is INJURY. if you are know that D Wade hurt his ankle on tuesday, you can take him out & put someone in you KNOW will play on wednesday. if Kobe has been in court all week but will be back for the weekend games, you won't miss out on what he does for the final couple games of the week.

Yep. Commish tools > Draft Management > Edit Draft Order & Assign Keeper Players. League must be unlocked (under "Finalize Team List)
