Right click on your desktop and go to Properties. Select the settings tab and choose your otimal resolution. If the resolution is out of range just do nothing when you hit Apply and it will revert back to the original resolution you had previously set.

Your best bet is to go in the actual game, and go to the graphic settings. From there use the resolutions that they give you, and choose which one is best for you. If that doesn't work, you might have to adjust your computer screen resolution so that the Fiesta window will go ok with your screen. your on the right track. mashing the F8 key is the best thing to do. long story shortwhen computers start up they all behave differently thinking back about all the computers ive had to get to safe mode...i dont know the precise moment when to tap it so im pressing it pretty quickly -bam-bam-bam-bam-bam--bam-bam-bam-bam-ba... you will know if your in safe mode because mashing the F8 key will bring you to a big black and white menu where you choose what type of safemode you want. pick the type of safe mode you need. in your case either "safe mode" or "safe mode with networking" then it will load windows but it will be just a bare ugly basic windows....no accessories, and in a VERY low resolution. from there you select a resolution that you know your monitor can handle. then when you restart your PC and load normally that is the resolution your PC will tell you monitor to display.
