Yahoo finance portfolio alerts page disappeared and can't make edit any values. Yahoo doesn't have any answer?
You used to be able to set alerts for if a stock increases or decreases by say 5%. You could set alerts for each individual stock. Now when you click on edit alerts page nothing happens. Alerts don't come up and you can't edit them. Of course Yahoo acts like there is no problem with no solutions. Isn't Yahoo great with all the changes that have made it worse. I hope somehow this gets fixed, otherwise Yahoo finance portfolio is a waste and people might as well start closing their accounts. Does anyone have a solution why this is happening or how to access the alert and change them? I get incorrect alert in my email all the time and can't change them.
Yahoo Finance Portfolio - Keep prompting for password?
Hi there, I've been trying to update my portfolio positions in Yahoo Finance but it keeps prompting me for password instead. I start experiencing this issue yesterday and its still the same today. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Pls help Thanks!

Change your URL to: http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/p?v&k=pf_1 Yahoo Singapore seems to be the closest to what we used to have since it has the "Set Alert" link next to "Create Transaction History" in the lower left. This works for now, but the chances are that corporate will eventually cram their "New and Improved" format down everybody's throat, worldwide. Sounds like a classic "Dilbert Syndrome" with too many pointy-haired bosses. . . The view that existed before this one worked just fine - you could print a portfolio with about 40 entries on it with IE7 by selecting the stuff you wanted, go to print preview, view as selected on screen, adjust size scaling, landscape format and you got a nice spreadsheet-type printout for your historical records all on one page. The new view effectively double-spaces the data lines and you must shrink the effective font smaller in order to fit it on one page. Personally, I liked the previous portfolio printouts that I used to make because they came out in a very nice table with solid black header labels, block printed like an Excel spreadsheet. HOW TO GET OLD CLASSIC YAHOO FINANCE PAGE BACK?
I was able to recover it after opening my portfolio.
Portfolio Name and Selector Icon are greyed out...cannot select other Portfolios?
On 'My Portfolio' page , the Portfolio Name and Selector Icon are greyed out. I cannot select the other Portfolios I have created before, just the default Portfolio is shown; Everything else on the page looks OK. I have used this financial tool for many many years.....any ideas to what happended to this page, is yahoo working on upgrading this page, or do I need to go to Google Finance and use their Portfolio Tools?

What is the best alternative to Yahoo Finance?
Instead of yahoo finance you can start using free stock charts and quotes online chart analysis tool. There I saw screener options aswell.
