Also if you want to get one your hair should be as least damaged as possible and the place needs to have good perm reviews. If you dye your hair from blonde to brown or black and then back to blonde a few times do not get a perm. When with your stylist tell them everything you have done to your hair in the past year or 2 just depending on how long your hair is. Trust me you need to do this or your hair could fry off.Otherwise curling your hair right one day and letting the curls go and use dry shampoo is another option. Just use a heat protectant! :)
My parents won't let me buy a hair straightener?
Okay. My hair is up to my shoulders, right? Which is great. I love my short hair. But the problem is it keeps ending up on my shoulders, which makes sort of like a major flip at the end. Even my friends notice. I hate it! I've begged my mom for a straightener ever since I was 10. My mom says it will damage my hair. I've read some of the posts here saying the same thing. I keep telling her, there are freaking heat protectants out there! And that you can adjust the temperatures. She says she'll buy me a hair curler, but whats the difference! They both use heat! When I tell her this, she gets mad and turns away. I won't even use the straightener everyday! My friends do, and they have beautiful hair. She says they're hair is already damaged, which makes NO sense whatsoever. I have really thick hair, and when I wake up, my side bangs are flipped out. (My parents are asian. So they are REALLY strict. Straight A's Whoo hoo! But NO straight hair!) LOL Look. I know this is really long, but school starts in 3 weeks. If you have the courtesy to answer my question, please tell me how to get a straightener, and how you asked your mom to get you one. :)

Simply put? Nothing. It’s not your hair, it’s hers. Who cares if YOU like straight hair? She was born with curly. She is a precious 6 year old child and you’re putting it into her head that she’s not the perfect child you wanted just because you don’t like her HAIR??Here’s a thought- I’m sad that neither of my daughters got my eyes so I’ll force them to wear contacts just because I like blue eyes better.If that statement above sounds stupid or crazy then guess what lady, that’s exactly how you sound, you absolute cracked walnut. “I like straight hair”. It was over four feet long and the weight of it made the curls stretch until they looked like waves instead of curls. Once I cut it I discovered that I have curls galore. My oldest, who was 5 at the time, kept saying she wished she had curly hair so I cut it for her to the same length mine was. It stayed straight as a pin, not a curl or hint of a wave to be seen. She cried. Literally bawled out these great huge tears of sorrow that she doesn’t have curly hair like me. It took me an hour to get her to stop crying and actually believe me when I told her how pretty her straight hair is. She’s 11 now and her hair is to her mid back and she’s loving it, all because I took the time to tell her how much I loved her hair. Mom doesn't want me to get hair extensions?
Hi im 13, my hair is really short, i liked it at first and my mom was the person that made me hate it saying long hair suits girls, short hair isn't for girls and stuff like that. Now i found cheaper clip-in extensions but my mom says NO WAY she is buying them, im too young, she would be too embarassed for me to wear them at school. yes but my hair is raelly damn short, doesn't want to grow at all, i can't spend all my days crying about it. She also doesnt want me to try hair growth methods and masks, she wants me to be only natural. How do i convice this woman to get me the hair extensions? Btw i told my aunt and she said she might buy it,idk mom wont allow it
