How do I stop the feeling of being ignored?

Being ignored isn’t a feeling, it is something that happens.Do you want to stop caring about being ignored, or stop being ignored? If you want to stop caring, use mental discipline. Stop caring. Put it out of your mind every time it creeps back in. Focus on something good in your life or that’s planned for the future. If you want to “stop being ignored,” you’ll find that the wording makes no sense. It’s others who chose to ignore you. That is their right. You might be able to draw their attention with certain behaviors, but if what you have to offer is not what they want, they’ll direct their attention elsewhere soon enough.Generally, people will pay attention to you if you’re funny, gorgeous, slightly smarter than they are (in useful ways), have toys they want to play with, or have a car and they don’t. Shrug internally if you must, but move on. Ignore them, too.Instead, go where you are wanted. Explore your surroundings for places where people share your interests and enjoy talking to you and hope to see you again. If you like nature, find out if you can volunteer at a park. Animals? Gemini, how would you feel about being ignored?

i found out that my boyfriend, a gemini has been bitching about me behind my back to his friends, i tried to talk to him about it and he replied with "**** off, why dont you go have sex with ben" (the guy that told me)..

im really upset by this reply and i think its really immature, but infact everytime i have an issue he takes it really personal (because he is sensitive) and gets angry and wont discuss it with me. i dont ever go about it aggressively, i just try to talk.

So i have decided to turn my phone off for a while, because i am really hurt and do not feel like talking to him. i know we love each other but something isn't right. I feel a little break of me not speaking to him might calm the nerves and then i can tell him why.

oh btw im a cancer :)

How do you deal with being ignored?

I've always been bothered by being ignored but the past few years it seems as if being ignored is having an even greater effect on me that it used to. I'm not a very sociable person but I often make attempts to socialize and get some sort of conversation going with people that I consider friends, but 9 times out of 10 I end up getting ignored. I'll also admit to making a great amount of awkward comments, but in some instances it seems besides the point. There have been numerous occasions over the years where I would try to be involved in a conversation but I would end up getting ignored by whoever I was talking to. Eventually I got sick of avoiding that ignored feeling and I just figured I'd be better off staying alone and talking to no one, but I know that's really unhealthy. But it seems as if no matter how many attempts I make to socialize people refuse to hear me out and allow me to be involved. It's as if they can detect my desire to be heard and they take joy in ignoring me. I really don't know how to describe it but I do know it's beginning to deeply affect me, to the point that if I'm being ignored even for a second I'll be on the verge of tears. So how do I deal with this? I already know I can't force people to stop ignoring me, so how can I keep a level head and stay in control of my emotions even when I'm ignored?

How do you deal with your family ignoring you?

Shut that door. If they don’t want to have anything to do with you—-why would you think one more moment about what their concerned with? Hey - my brothers want nothing to do with me? Hey that’s all well and good. They’re neurotic.Just because their our family - doesn’t mean they have a big portion of “act right”. Sometimes our families are more hurtful to us than strangers.Feel your feelings of loss and separation, everything because it not healthy to keep having people that diminish your worth hon. Those people are toxic. They operate on Fear Obligation and Guilt. All negative, controlling — and accusation that your the problem - that’s a lovely fear tactic that gets used. Then there’s what’s called either “Grease” or “Spinning”. Both of those tactic’s are when a man will change the subject over and over to confuse you. You know what he is doing but he’s really trying to make you unsettled — he might ask you if you are sick? It’s a diversion tactic. Predators do it. They are good at what they do- and it’s a craft, I know I was just memorized. Man they have no moral fiber - at ALL. So be careful of anyone that’s too friendly. Too eager to help you —I’ve taught myself how to drive with a map in four major cities. I was scared, I don’t have a problem admitting that- we all have fears - it’s only human that we need to feel our way through life. It’s called BEING PRESENT. It’s the most courageous thing you can do. And I cannot tell you everything you need to know. Lord knows that. but one thing be kind to people as you can, and courteous . Be a good person. Stand for something. It’s okay if people decide to leave your life - it’s their loss. People come and go— that is life. It’s really hard and painful sometimes and I hate it. I guess it’s the whole life experience with other humans that you cannot control. I really am sick of powerlessness. Sorry if my answer is odd, I’m in pain and in an peculiar mood. Hope something helped.
