How Do I Deal With This Problem Right Now

What is the biggest world problem?

I have to do an essay and im having some issues coming up with a big world problem so if you could please let me know what you think is a big world problem and if you want, how can the UN ( united nations) can solve it! ill appreciate it.

What, in your opinion, is the main problem in France right now?

Too much centralization.

The government complains that we ask them too much things, but on the other hand refuses to give up some power in favor of more local authorities like communes or départements.

The centralization has been increasing for decades, and the ability of the state to manage things on a local scale hasn't increased. So local problems are often treated on a national scale. And they do it by coming up with solutions that apply to everywhere. The result are solutions that don't actually fix the local problem because they also have not to cause problems in the other places.
And that's when they do bother coming up with solutions, because most of the time, they are too busy managing the country as a whole to even care about local problems.
The centralization policies also had the effect of erasing the local cultures and languages. The government stopped trying to actively erase them in the middle of the 20th century, but we're in 2018 and they still got absolutely no official recognition.

Macron is not the source of our problems, it started way before that, but he isn't making it better. His recent tax reforms made communes be almost completely dependent on the state for their functioning and public service.

What problems has South Africa to deal with, nowadays?

Well, according to the ANC everything that goes wrong and every problem that presents itself is due to Apartheid, but that is simply not true, they have no excuse but their own incompetence and greed.....no current major problems are the aftermath of Apartheid.

The major strategic problems and challenges facing South Africa right now are, poverty, HIV/Aids, fraud, corruption and nepotism in government and crime.

The good news is that they can all be addressed, managed and or minimized and the bad news is that very little is been done due to the ruling ANC government concerning themselves mainly with lining their own pockets through fraud, corruption and nepotism.

In fact, had Jacob "Thug" Zuma been an American he would long ago have been on the FBI's most wanted hot list, this same Zuma is on the SA hot list to be the next President of SA.....I hope you are starting to understand the biggest problem of them all.

What are some themes / problems that apartheid dealt with?

So i am doing a project for school that deals with the apartheid. This was a movement that took place in the 40's in South / Southern Africa. There are many famous authors and short stories from this time. For example: Mark Mathabane, "The moment before the gun went off", "Kaffir Boy" and others. I am doing a photo essay that deals with the themes and problems people during the apartheid dealt with and the themes of stories from apartheid. I will use symbolism to depict these themes.

So, my question to you is: what are some themes in storiess from the apartheid? what about struggles people had? how can these be applied to life today? how can they be symbolised in photography?

Is it okay to smoke & drink my problems away?
