How Do I Delete My Stupid Facebook

Why did he delete my facebook comment?

This probably sounds a little stupid, but this guy I've been seeing (lives about an hour away) put a photo of his band's new cd on his facebook. I've known him over a month and in that time I've never commented on his statuses...I don't do the whole kisses thing or lovey type stuff for public view. Anyway, I made a joke type comment on the photo about the neat arrangement of the cd's on his kitchen worktop, and it was our kind of humour and not offensive at all. I know I definitely posted it, but when I looked back, it wasn't there. He'd text me last night and is always the one making arrangements for us to meet. I asked why he'd deleted my comment and he said he hadn't...and asked which one it was. I couldn't be bothered to get into anything as it was late...but I just don't know why he would do this. He has other girl friends commenting and never deletes theirs. I just feel like he doesn't want me known, even though I have met his male friends and they all like me???

My mom made me delete my Facebook?

Maybe you shouldn't be using facebook. She obviously doesn't want you to be on facebook, she might think it's a bad influence to you. You shouldn't make another account if your mom recently deleted your account, she will find out soon.

My Facebook nickname won't delete!?

How does it feel to delete your Facebook account?

its just like snatching away drugs from a stoner. if you instantly do this, it feels like someone's taken your soul away. no appetite, sleepless nights and unending anxieties. but if you follow a proper step by step  process, it feels nothing. yep.  absolutely nothing. may i tell how i did it-STEP 1)- refined my friend list by unfriending useless people who were never a part of my real life. people from brazil and even Koreans. i went from 700 something to 120 something.STEP 2)- deleted useless thread conversations which consisted of hey / hi friend / wassup / I've seen you somewhere.. STEP 3)- unfollowed pages which always popped up random stupid posts every time i refreshed my feed. STEP 4)- removed cover photo. just the cover photo. STEP 5)- edited my personal info from essays to one liners. STEP 6)- turned off notifications. STEP 7)- stopped posting bullshit like at the mall with XYZ watching blah blah blah. listening to so n so n so.. STEP 8)- removed pictures i posted a week ago so there was less nerve to check for any comments and likes. STEP 9)- concluded that it's boring and useless. i made up my mind to get over with it, messaged my friends and took numbers to keep in touch via whatsapp.  that's it. Within a fortnight i managed to delete my account and "successfully" uninstall the almighty Facebook app and its messenger. the addiction was over. Results- a functional phone with boosted internal memory and RAM.. and a life!

When are you going to delete your Facebook account?

A2A: When are you going to delete your Facebook account?Probably I would NOT delete it… so far.BUT, but, but… That is quite different from slowing my use of Facebook and restricting the amount of information that i put into Facebook: ie. photos, my whereabouts, publishing public stuff. etc.See we must recognize that Facebook has indeed opened a brand new world of GOOD things for many people: In my case, I have gotten in touch with people that were long lost, since our mutual kindergarten days. It has been extremely nice to get in touch with them, thanks to Facebook. I have also met and I am in touch with very interesting people across the world, that probably won’t be in contact with as there would be no other possible way.Once that said, of course, it is a very worrisome situation that of privacy, identity theft, the fact that WE are the Facebook product and they make thons of money with our data information and that, once you put something on Facebook it is no longer practically yours (i mean, you may be the legitimate rights owner of that content, but you absolutely have no longer any control over that content, none whatsoever)…. This are critical facts as to decide HOW to use Facebook (or any other social media network for that matter) or, in worst cases, yes, delete that or those accounts.

How to Delete Applications on Facebook

Want to get rid of a Facebook application? This guide will show you how to do it.

Once you have logged in to Facebook, click on the Account button at the top right of the page and then select the option that says “Privacy Settings.”

Once you have done this, near the bottom left of the page, click on the link that says “Edit your settings.”

Now, at the right extreme of the “Apps you use” area, click on the button that says “Edit Settings.”

Once you have clicked on that button, you will see a list of all the applications you have authorized. On that list, click on the x at the right extreme of the app you want to remove. The system will ask you to confirm the action, and then the application will be removed from your account, which means that it will no longer have access to your data.

I'm a Facebook addict, but I can't delete my account. I must use it. How can I avoid it?

After reading your explanation, it seems like you are below 20.. Don't worry about this stupid Facebook. Do one thing.. Don't force yourself for anything because nothing can happen forcefully. I can agree on one thing that from Facebook we learn about so many things. So don't delete your account. Let it be there. Use it if you want, it's ok .. Don't think too much , don't take any pressure on you just because of this small Facebook thing. It's not only you who is facing this, countless of people are there. If you will force yourself to delete your accounts then again you will make a new one. So what's the use of deleting ?? Think about it.. That's why I am saying don't delete your original account. Use it as many time you want.. And you will see after a certain period of time you will get so bore of it and then you will leave this Facebook yourself. I can also say that control yourself and all that, but I know it's useless to say because you tried and you made an another id :) so there is no use to say this. Don't make any other account, use your original one only and I assure you that after sometime you will realize what moments you lost in your life just because of this Facebook addiction. And that you will realize only when you will feel and experience it by wasting time in all this. Because when we can't control ourself then the better way to learn is to experience it. Then we learn permanently. So use it and you will get bore of it as much as you will use it. You will learn from your own experience.

Should i have to delete a friend from facebook because my girlfriend asks me to?

I love my girlfriend dearly but she is so jealous. Recently she deleted this dude from Facebook and I think she did it just to expect me to delete a particular girl. The dude she deleted used to flirt with her constantly but I never cared because he is from another country but she has known him since before we were together and has talked on the phone with him and such. She is so jealous of this one girl. I've been Facebook friends with her for like four years and we have never been anything more than that. She has never tried to hit on me even when I was single and has never made any inappropriate comments to me. She often comments on my statues and pictures but mostly the pics of my daughter and how cute she is but never anything flirtatious to me. I've never called her or asked for her number or vice versa. But my girlfriend just can't stand the fact that she comments and "likes" things I post. She has gotten to the point of asking me to delete her and I don't feel like I should have to tell a good friend of mine that my gf is jealous of her and I have to delete her. I would feel stupid and immature asking that. My gf is convinced that this girl is in love with me but I know full well she is not. I don't want my gf to think I am putting another girl over her but I feel she is being ridiculous about this. Should I have to delete her or am I in the right to say I feel I shouldn't have to? It is taking the fun out of Facebook and I'm almost to the point that I feel like just deleting my account.
