How do you duplicate songs on iTunes?
I'm trying to create a Meditation/Yoga CD as a Mother's day gift for my mom so any help would be appreciated. I have just downloaded a few 1 hour relaxation album tracks which are way to long to fit on the CD. I'm trying to duplicate this long track a number of times so that I can separate it into individual songs. One method I tried was trying to change the name of the original by adding a one at the end of it, hoping that itunes will automatically import a second copy creating a duplicate in which I can change edit the start and finish time so that I can separate the tracks. This method unfortunately didn't work and just left me with a the same track but a 1 next to it. lol The second method I used was trying to drag and drop the track into a new playlist several times to create duplicates that way. At first it seemed to work but once I made any changes/editing to the timing or name it applied to all them. As a result, I was left with only one long-*** track that was only able to be edited once. If anyone can help me with this problem I'd greatly appreciate it. Btw please don't hesitate to ask for further clarification if my explanation above doesn't make sense. I'd be happy to clarify, I just need a solution ASAP! :) Thanks!

If they are really duplicates (exact same title and artist) you can use the duplicate option in iTunes.From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen or at the top of the iTunes window, choose File > Library > Show Duplicate Items.You’ll have to either select them one at a time or have them sorted by ‘date added/modified’ and if you’re lucky you can select several at a time.I do this fairly often because I keep moving my files from one folder to another on my computer/external hard drive.If you are not that organized, it could take a while. You’ll have to edit each and every file/duplicate before using the duplicate option but if you have to do that, you might as well just delete them instead of editing.
