How Do I Find The Average Number Of Weeks That Fred Travel Until He Is First Late More Than Once In

How can I find average speed if a boy walks to his school at a distance of 6 km with a speed of 2.5 km/h and walks back with a constant speed 5km/hr?

This question is very simple.Average speed = Total Distance / Total Time TakenWe have given speeds S1 and S2S1 = 2.5 km/hrS2 = 5 km/hrAnd Distance D1 and D2D1 = 6 kmD2 = 6 kmTotal Distance = D1 + D2 = 6 + 6 = 12 kmNowT1 = D1/S1T1 = 6/2.5 = 2.4 hrT2 = D2/S2T2 = 6/5 = 1.2 hrTotal Time = T1 + T2 = 2.4 + 1.2 = 3.6 hrNowAverage Speed = Total Distance / Total Time = 12 / 3.6Average Speed = 3.33 km/hr

A car travels from A to B at the rate of 40 miles per hour, and then returns from B to A at the rate of 60 miles per hour. Is the average rate for the round trip more or less than 50 miles per hour? Why?

it 'll be 48 mph.let, the distance of A to B be 1mile.so,first the time=1/40hr.on return,it'll be 1/60hrso, in all for 2 mile the time=1/40+1/60hr.so, avg=2/(1/40+1/60)=48.

First car question: Is RWD really safer?

Ok, so this has been a really common subject. Are RWD cars really safer than FWD ones? All this is leading me towards buying a RWD car as my first. But is it really true? FWD cars are usually more prone to understeer more than RWD ones; not good if you travel the highway a lot, like I do.

So I'm going to share two of my experiences with you:

A few years ago I was riding with my grandpa in his FWD sedan, which weighed around 3800 lbs with both of us in it. We were on the highway going about 65 mph. There was a small TV in the middle of our lane. My grandpa jerked the wheel to the left. The front tires screeched like crazy (these were pretty new tires too, only about 1000 miles on them), but we still managed to hit the TV. He had to get the front bumper and a headlight replaced.

Another similar incident, except this time with a RWD Infiniti QX56. With all the people and luggage in it, the weight was probably around 6200 lbs. We were going the same speed, about 65 mph. There was a lawn chair in the middle of the highway. My dad jerked the wheel left; it was pretty rough, my head slammed against the window. But the 3 ton SUV seemed to dodge the lawn chair with little effort, and this was a week before we changed the tires, which almost had no more tread on them. There wasn't even a chirp from the tires. All four stuck like super glue. No damage done.

So there ya go...go ahead and share some experiences of your own if you want to.

First paycheck while husband is in basic training, I have a few questions?

Ok, the answer is different then what you actually get, and I will explain.

P.S. I am active duty Air Force, been through this, and am speaking with actual experience.

1. Your recruiter is correct, you get paid your BAH (as well as other allowances) on the 1st. Along with your base pay.

The military actualy pays monthly, not twice a month, but what it does, (and when your hubby is done with BMT he can show you how to access his LES) The miltiary pays you everything on the 1st, but then deducts half of it, and saves that half for the 15th.

So in reality you are getting paid on the 1st, but for actualy purposes, you are getting paid half on the first, half on the 15th (of both BAH, as well as Base pay) [so the 800 on 1st 800 on 15th]

Also if you guys set up any allotments, it works the same way, the allotment is paid out on the 1st, but half of it is taken out of your 1st check, and the other half on the 15th because the miltiary splits what you earn in half and gives it to you all at once.

2. What time you actually get paid, is not dependent on the miltary, that's actually your Banks issue. My wife and I use USAA, because they pay us a buisness day before, so if friday is the 1st of April, by Thursday at 10am central the 31st of Apr, I have already been paid.

Where as other banks might not pay out untill their morning of the 1st, local time, so if your banks HQ that deals with the money is located in another time zone, you may not get paid untill their morning time.

3. Yes it can take 5weeks and sometimes longer for mistakes that finance makes to be corrected.
FYI Finance, will make mistakes!,
Also if finance makes a mistake and pays you to much, they can literally, and they will, take the money out of your bank account. So if you got paid $900 one paycheck when your only suposed to get $800, and even if you already used the extra $100 that you didn't realize you got, they will take the money out and leave your bank account in the negative. and it's perfectly legal, and you will have to deal with the bank fees that might incur. so be carefull.

If it takes Al 6 minutes to wash a car, and Fred 8 minutes to wash the same size car, how quickly will they be able to wash it together?

The people here giving "real life" answers are missing the point. This is a mathematical question (it's tagged with "Mathematics Homework Question"), so it's completely irrelevant what other details or circumstances exist beyond what was asked in the original question. Here is a mathematical answer below:It takes Al 6 minutes to wash the car. This means he washes [math]\frac{1}{6}[/math] of the car per minute. Fred therefore washes [math]\frac{1}{8}[/math] of the car per minute. Working together, they both wash [math]\frac{1}{6}+\frac{1}{8}[/math] of the car, or [math]\frac{7}{24}[/math] of the car each minute. This means that it takes [math]\frac{24}{7}[/math] minutes to wash the entire car — or 3 minutes, 25.714285... seconds total.

I have a 6 week old dachshund puppy what do I feed her how many times day should I feed her?

As you've probably already been told, this puppy should be back with her breeder and siblings for at least another 2 weeks, even if she's off mum by now. It's illegal to sell puppies this young in some places, and this BYB needs to be told - and they will be BYBs because good breeders know how vital it is to hold their puppies together until they are at least 8 weeks.

They should have given you a diet sheet, and a small supply of the food she was already eating (assuming she was fully weaned?) too. It's not a good idea to switch food without doing it gradually - you'll end up with a pup with an upset digestive system. She should be eating from her bowl without you doing it - and if you continue, you are encouraging her to be 'faddy'. However, unless she is fully weaned, and unless you take her straight back to these people, perhaps you will have to continue to do this to make sure she can eat solids, and then as any good breeder would do, put her bowl on the ground.

She should be on 4 meals a day - breakfast at around 7 am, lunch around noon, tea around 5 pm and a late evening meal around 9 pm. When she's older, the late evening meal is the first one to drop, and then lunch. Leaving breakfast and tea into adulthood. And she should be on the same, good quality puppy food she hopefully has been having, moistened so it's soft (using warm water, not hot) until she's older and able to eat her food less wet.

Add At 6 weeks, puppies don't need to be bottled!!! That stops once they have teeth. Weaning starts towards the end of the 3rd, into the 4th week and should be complete by 6 weeks. But that's just the food weaning part. Socially weaning isn't complete at 6 weeks, by a long way. You can give her milky drinks if you like, using goats milk warmed, but basically all a 6 week old needs is a good quality complete puppy food. Also she needs to see your vet - if she hasn't taken mum's first milk (colostrom) for some reason, she may well benefit from an initial vaccination against Parvo now. She may also need worming (BYBs don't bother with that). Vet.

How long can a cat survive without food and water before dying?

Cats can last a short while without food and can potentially survive for weeks without eating. Water is far more necessary to their health and physical well-being however, and a cat that goes more than a few days without anything to drink might not survive. If you're worried that a cat hasn't been eating or drinking, and it's not showing any signs of being starved or dehydrated, then try offering it a can of tuna water - don't buy the tuna in oil - and see if you can encourage them to drink that way. Not only the water will hydrate them, it'll also contain some much-needed nutrients from the fish. Otherwise, you should take the animal to a vet. The consequences of inadequate food and water can be dire. Why? A cat who hasn't eaten for a while is considered to be starving, and starvation may have a damning physical effect on the cat's entire system. The same is true of dehydration, only the onset of dehydration is much quicker - and far more severe - than that of starvation. Every organ in the feline body relies on water and the nutritional content of food to properly function. Every single one. Starved and dehydrated organs will steal energy and water from the rest of the cat's body, a process that slows as the cat's bloodstream becomes less liquid itself. When feline organs lack sufficient food and fluids to function on the most basic level, they dry up and begin to shut down. Not only could this send the body into shock, it might cause irreversible damage to the cat's organs. If a starving and/or dehydrated cat does not receive swift treatment, it may face permanent health issues - if it survives at all. These are uncomfortable thoughts. They're scary. But it's important to state them as blankly as possible because you never want to take chances with a cat's intake of food and water.

What happens if I miss a drill weekend in the army?

Hat is from the "old school" they don't seen awol recovery teams anymore, they just discharge you, and it takes 4 months of missing in a row for the paperwork to be put up the chain of command. If you show up the 3rd month, the paper work starts all over again. I had a few soldiers that I just couldn't get kicked out because of this :(

Sadly missing drill and being UA isn't the same as being awol anymore.

You'll be labeled a **** bag, a deserter, lots of things. But that's on you really.

*** Edit****

No offense Hat, none was intended at least lol.
Are you NG or Reserves? There could be a difference in the way they both handle things. Each unit is different though I guess.
