How Do I Fix Game Lags That Weren

How do I fix my lag spikes in Fortnite?

Firstly, try playing on servers that has the lowest ping.

Second, check what's your NAT-type/firewall status, since NAT 3/strict type or when some ports were closed, it could hinder the performance. Try change it to moderate or set up a DMZ for playing, but I don't recommend it if you're playing on PC.

Third, if you're playing on Wi-Fi, then place the router near your PC/consoles/laptop or use a LAN cable instead, since Wi-Fi connection wasn't very stable.

Fourth, try to check your connection, was it stable or not, and if there's other people were using it heavily like streaming videos or even downloading stuffs.

And lastly, if all of those weren't avail, then all that's left is to contact your ISP and ask for information about your network or even their assistance to resolve your connection problem.

Does every game experience lag? Which game is most notorious for its lag?

Every game can experience lag in some form. No matter how minimalistic the game, there is always a way to make the game lag, at least a little bit. You just need the right, or should I say wrong, hardware.Take Minecraft. Then, get the oldest processor you can, and a crappy Graphics Card. Throw in some tiny RAM and a few other necessary bits and bobs, and Voilá! It runs like you were using a Toaster to play it.So, as you can see, the game lags, because the parts you are using to play it simply can’t handle all the Processes it needs to run to do the physics, all the calculations, the random generations, all that good stuff that makes the game playable. Now, a game that is most notorious for it’s lag? I’m going to say Crysis is a good candidate.Crysis is a game that a lot of gamers refer to as a benchmarker game. If their computer can run Crysis 3 at max graphics at a good framerate, they can call their computer a win. However, if it was unable to run it on minimum at more than 15fps, back to the drawing board for that rig.So yes, all games can experience some form of lag, even text-based games.Ciao!

How do I fix game lags that weren't there before?

My games have always run smoothly even at max settings. Now, however, after a few minutes into a game, it would lose a lot of fps. Every time I alt-tab out of the game and back, it would return to normal and run smoothly again, then after a few minutes, it lags again. I tried setting the games to their lowest settings, but the same thing happens. Note that this happens to all of my games. Here are my specs:

Windows 8 Single Language 64-bit
GeForce GT 650M
Intel Core i7-3630QM @ 2.40 Ghz
12 GB RAM

All my drivers are updated. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance.

PS3 controller got wet?

I dropped my controller in the toilet like a dumbass. When I tried using it, it would just press the R3 button infinitely by itself. I unscrewed and left it open to dry out for a few days. Today, I tried using it and it was fine except that the x, square, triangle, and circle button weren't working at all. They are not stuck, they just don't respond when I press them. One thing I did notice is that when I reset the controller and turn it back on, pressing one of the 4 messed up button actually works, but only once. Please help me, I don't want to have to waste 55 bucks on another overpriced controller!

What if I 'clear data' in PUBG Mobile, will it fix the lag, and will I lose my account?

If you want to do that you can and if you weren't logged in as guest then you can recover your account if it is synced with apps like Google, twitter, app store etc. But I'll tell you the easiest way when you open pubg mobile and when the loading screen comes then you'll see there 3 buttons and the middle button will be the repair button so by this you will not have to clear your data but still you have to sync your account with the app you were synced with.

Why has Nintendo continued to lag behind their home console competitors in regards to their graphics? Has Nintendo made the decision to compete in other ways or do they lack the staff, technology, and capital to compete in graphics?

Console makers don’t make their hardware. They buy it from the same companies that make PC hardware. The internals of the Xbox and the Playstation are both made by AMD.The point being that if Nintendo wanted to “compete in graphics” it would simply buy the hardware that would allow them to do so. The same that Microsoft and Sony do. They choose not to.Why?Because, unlike Sony and Microsoft who make little, if anything, on console sales, Nintendo makes substantial profit on every piece of hardware a consumer buys. It doesn’t have to rely on people buying a couple dozen games afterwards to make money, it’s ahead of the game to start. And then, unlike Microsoft and Sony (though this is somewhat changing with MS in particular), Nintendo makes the vast majority of the games (certainly in terms of sales volume) for its own consoles. It behooves it to make games as cheaply as possible — a big part of that is not spending a ton of money on graphics. And consumers are fine with that. They buy Nintendo games for their gameplay, not the prettiness. That means that Nintendo can make their games for MUCH cheaper AND they can make the hardware to run them on cheaper.Nintendo wins all around by not focusing on graphics and instead competing on gameplay and the strength of its brand/IP.

Will there ever be a world without lag?

online gaming will always have some lag, in different locations
the problem is the world is a big place, and electricity has limits how fast it goes

when you play games, it goes through your internet connection, to your ISP, from your ISP, to some internet backbones, to the server where the game is hosted, and of course has to be be transmitted back again, and to all the people who play, all around the world

but its reduced by the data output... you get a better internet connection, you get less lag, due to more data being delivered faster

this is why many online games have servers situated around the world to help, but its not a perfect fix.

Is Skyrim on PS3 fixed by the 1.9 patch?

What mean you, by fixed? The 1.9 patch occured in 2012-2013 and it fixed quite a few bugs, if that is what you want to know however, there are still many many more bugs that haven't been fixed. The PS3 and Xbox360 both have their share of bugs that weren't fixed by the patch. Unfortunately for the players of Skyrim, the 1.9 patch was the last one.

What video game made you think "I'm just wasting my life with this video game"? Why?

It would have to be Fallout 76.I spent a good 12 hours straight on that game and discovered why the internet was up in flames about how bad it was.*first hour* I pressed on through some sorta mission after not even getting a basic tutorial. I questioned what was even the point of this, I was just killing hordes of Scorched Beasts.*about 6 hours in* I'm completing one of the new public events (which felt a little like Destiny 2) that Bethesda added in for a better experience. I was about to receive my drop package when the drone that’s carrying it lags and teleports about 2 miles away. *wth* The drone starts flying back my with my hard-earned loot and drops it onto the target. I open the box and it teleports somewhere else. So I lost my loot and walked away with a feeling of rage quit like no other.*about 8 hours in* I'm at these sweet looking castle ruins infested by super mutants. I was in a better mood, had enough explosives, as well as enough ammo. So I single-handedly take out 6 of the bigger ones. Immediately after I finish the rest of the mutants. This giant Scorch Beast comes out of nowhere. *I would probably try to escape it, but no, this was epic* I eventually blew the thing up enough that it seemed to be dead, *I got the lil kill signifying cha-ching* I see it start to lag twitch, and it just pops right up with full health.*maybe 30 mins later* I'm still fighting the beast but… I can’t. The thing lagged into a freaking wall and it’s just crawling there. So I leave, scowling at the lagged out bullet-sponge.*12 hours in* After experiencing more out of wack lag and just unexplainable gameplay problems, I quit the game.I hope there's a patch soon to fix this game. As a Fallout fan, I was really disappointed.
