I have done chemical hair smoothening and my hair now is straight and looking unnatural. How can I get it back to my natural curly hair soon?

My hair looks so thin when i straighten it?
It's because the straightening iron makes your hair actually physically smaller because of the intense heat. You can fix this by using a large curling iron instead and just keep steady pressure and just slide your hair through it, moving the curling iron down your hair at a steady pace. It is something that Paul Mitchell has been trying to legally fight for years. If you want the real thing, you do have to get it at the salon. The good news?? Whenever i straighten my hair, it gets wavy like 5 minutes later. whats the problem and how do i fix it?
my hair used to do that too. But i think maybe you should straighten your hair section by section to get a better "straight", for lack of a better word . divide it into an upper half & lower half. do the lower part first & divide this into different sections as well. add product to it too, i usually add an anti-frizz sleek & shine by garnier fructis but don't add too much.
Hair wont curl after being straightened.?
Most people will straighten their hair with an iron before they curl it.The results are just better doing it that way. But after I straighten my hair it doesn't curl at all. I've search and can't find one thing on the internet about this.Is there anything I can do to fix this? I've tried curling it without straightening it first and it comes out too frizzy on the top and it doesn't look too good. Also the back of my head doesn't curl well either,but the sides do.Any tips on that? Also both of my irons get to 400 F,so they definitely get hot enough. Thanks.

Why does my hair look so bad straightened, and how can I fix it?
I have the exact same type of hair that you have. I straighten it most days, and even though it doesn't come out perfect, it ends up looking pretty good. -To help the ends of your hair, I would make sure your using lots of heat protectant (I use Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray) and also I would make sure you don't hold the iron on the ends for a long amount of time. (Its always better to do faster swipes of the iron) - I also have problems with my ends staying straight. You could try a hairspray (Herbal Essences Max Hold is a good one) or sometimes I'll use a product called Tigi After Party and that also helps. - To prevent your roots from getting greasy, make sure you're putting the majority of your hair products in the middles and the ends of your hair, rather then in your roots. That's the main reason your roots would be getting greasy. You might also want to try a shampoo for people with greasy hair (Herbal Essences makes a good one) - For the texture, I would either try S Factor smoothing lusterizer or Chi Silk Infusion. They are both creams that you can put on when your hair is wet or dry and they really help me keep my hair smooth. Good luck with your hair!
