How Do I Get A Popular Good Quality Youtube Channel

How to make a popular YouTube channel?

looking at most of the popular youtube channels there almost all comedy. other then that mabey like kipkay (hes cool look him up if you dont know him). you should try to make something people are gonna want to watch that funny and that no one else has realy done before. secretagentbob (charlie the unicorn, ferrets ) being a good example. his videos are unlike almost all the other comedy videos out there. fred, angry video game nerd, smosh, sercret agent bob, that all uniqe.

the some of the things that can make a channel fail are having a bad shaky camera or copying someone else. theres hundreds of angry video game nerd copyers that get knowwhere.

kipkay and other channels like him are very interesting and cool. if your good at something try that. giving allot of good tutorials on how to do stuff that youve found allot of people need to know (the key being good tutorials not fast slopy ones) would be good. just find something interesting that hasnt been taken

Will a popular YouTube Channel help me to get to a good collage/scholarship?

I'm about to be a junior in high school, and once I enter collage I hope to major in Film Directing and Creative Writing. My GPA is around a 3.6, but I plan to get at least a 4.0 for the next two years of high school. I'm going into IB(honors) classes and plan to go for then full IB diploma. I'm also in ASB and Link Crew. The point is, I REALLY want to go to a good collage like USC or UCLA(both great schools for my future proffesion) and I know that it will be very hard. My parents don't want me to leave town, though LA is only 2 hours away, but I know that if I get a good scholarship I can convince them that it's a good investment, and that I am serious about the Film industry. Now the point is, if I make a YouTube Channel(That is dedicated to Film) now, and let's say get a few thousand subscribers before I graduate(40,000+) can I put that in my application? I've seen questions like these before on Yahoo! Answers, but I plan to make mine a serious and artistic short film channel strictly. Any vlogs or unnecessary videos or clip will be on another channel. Can this help me with my chances to go into a good collage or win a scholarship? Or would it be almost pointless and sound childish to put in my collage and scholarship applications? Please awnser, the sooner I know the better, thanks!

P.S. I'm not making the YouTube Channel just to get to a collage, but to build a resumé and show people that this is something that I really love, and probably the only thing in good at to be honest.

Can you get your YouTube channel popular by only publishing good quality content regularly?

Of course! When people are looking for a channel to subscribe to, they look for good quality and consistent posting. Many YouTubers you see now have top notch editing software and they post at least once a week, if not more. It’s how they get people to go back to their channel for more. That said, it takes a while for popularity on YouTube to grow. Don’t give up if you don’t have as many subscribers or views as you want!

I have a youtube channel with quality content comparable with channels with millions of views, but I barely have views, what do I do wrong?

Because when it comes to social media marketing, YouTube is an undeniably powerful force. After all, more than 500 million hours of videos are watched on YouTube each day. While not all businesses are going for YouTube celebrity status, it is important to note that younger generations are extremely engaged with the channel. How to grow my YouTube channel?

My name is Isaac. I have a YouTube channel called "Apple Hipster".
I think I've been posting good content and frequently/consistently.
I have 1,000 - 2,000 views on a couple videos. Great like to dislike ratio. 98 subscribers.

Does this sound realistic?

My videos are strictly correlated to my niche.
Raw file name correlates to video. Using many well-fitted/optimized tags.
Good profile pic. Good channel art. Good thumbnails. Good titles. Good descriptions.

Posting at a good rate.
I ask my audience to subscribe.
I type out all subtitles.

I make a lot of conversation and interact with others on YouTube videos with parallel content.
I have linked social media accounts. I think I'm working considerably hard.

Considering the number of views and good ratings my videos are getting, it just seems that I should have a higher number of subscribers. Does anybody have any other tips that could help gain a larger audience?

My videos are not monetized. Does YouTube typically send more traffic to monetized videos?

Here's my channel if dissecting it would be helpful:

Which is more effective to get popular on YouTube: lower quality weekly videos or higher quality monthly videos?

It is depending on the Content which you are going to Upload on YouTube. If you are willing to start a Channel on Tech News, News Analysis, etc. Here you may have to deliver some daily Videos, so as to share daily information with subscribers. But if you are choosing the topics such as Product Review, Movie Review, Sharing quality Information/Ideas etc. Here you can deliver weekly quality content. And if you have a small team or group of friends going to create Videos on Comedy, web series, Short Movies etc. You have to make sure that, you upload atleast once in two weeks.Quality always matters, but as to grow on youtube. You need to share videos on frequent. So that, your subscribers won’t forget about your channel. But if you are really delivering quality content. No-One can stop you from Growing. Some of the real life examples are Jump-cuts, Eruma Sani.

How do some youtube channels blow up so fast?

I have a YouTube channel and own a few blogs (my gaming blog)If it’s not fake, which can sometimes be the case then it comes down to these things:Viral Mystery Effect: If your content leaves mistery, it gets clicks.People use this to go viral, you may have seen it with 1000 degree knife cutting stuff or The Slow Mo Guys.Titles that start with: “What happens when you…?”Mix that with a nice thumbnail and you have viral magic.Know other YouTubers: If you get involved with one of the many clicks on YouTube you can go from 0 to breaking your first 1 mil subs in 6 months. They get famous on another platform and bring it to YouTube.Examples:Ozzy Reviews (got famous on Facebook)The Gabby Show (got famous on vine)The list goes on.They use good marketing: Tai Lopez - Alex Becker - And many other YouTubers use SEO and marketing to get to the top. This takes a big budget, keyword research and great content and can backfire. They find an untapped niche: Recently life hacks went crazy and a few YouTubers went from 2000 subs straight into the millions within weeks. Here’s an example: This guy went from 0 to over 6 million subscribers in a year: My GearHope this helped, if you have any questions feel free to ask.
