How Do I Get A Stain From Black Jeans Out Of My Daughters Blue And White Cheerleading Outfit It

What to wear at cheer tryouts?

WHAT TO WEAR:

Soffee/Cheer shorts: Black goes well with everything, but if you prefer a color, stick with a darker shade (navy, purple, etc). Avoid lighter colors like light pink or yellow, unless your legs are super tan.

Shirt: Choose a solid colored top in either white or some bright color that will make you stand out. It can either be a t-shirt or a collared polo shirt. Some judges prefer the polo shirts because it makes you look neater and more professional - but if no one at your school is wearing one, go with the t-shirt. Either way, the shirt should be close fitting, but not super clingy-tight (unless you've got the perfect figure to pull it off!). Make sure your top is long enough to tuck into your shorts, but not so long that it's all bunched up. Pin your shirt to the inside of your shorts so it won't come untucked during tryouts.

Hair: Pull your hair back in a high ponytail and make sure it's all secure; no bangs or whispies hanging out! Spray the heck out of it if you need to. Tie it with a cute bow or ribbon to match your top or shorts.

Shoes: white cheer or athletic shoes, and make sure they're clean! No-show socks.

Makeup: Play up your eyes and lips, but stick with natural colors and don't overdo it. Remember, cheerleaders are supposed to have a "wholesome" image. All-Star cheer teams often wear dramatic makeup with false eyelashes and glitter, but that's not typically the style for school cheer.

As you put together your outfit, keep in mind: your goal is to look neat, fit, athletic and wholesome. Good luck!!

WHO TO HANG OUT WITH:

Hang out with your friends, no matter who they are! When you try out for cheer, the judges will have no idea who your friends are, nor would they care. If your cheer skills are good, you'll make the squad no matter who you hang around with. Once you make it, you'll probably become friends with the other cheerleaders... but that doesn't mean they have to be your only friends! On our squad, there are some girls who are best friends with each other; some girls who are friends with cheerleaders and non-cheerleaders; and some girls who hardly ever hang out with the other cheerleaders except during cheer. Just be true to yourself and your friends, and be nice and friendly to everyone, and you'll be just fine!

How do I was my rock revival jeans? steps?

The first thing you'll want to do is turn them inside out. This is the best way to protect the embellishments and minimize fading.

Since you want them to shrink, you'll want to wash them in warm water (warm is fine, no need for hot), and then tumble dry low. A higher heat setting on the dryer might cause more shrinkage, but it's generally not a good idea to dry designer jeans on high heat.

Is your daughter a tomboy?

My daughter considers herself a tomboy because she does not enjoy being a "sissy foo-foo girl". I say nothing. The fact is, she's both - she is quite a gorgeous little lady, and enjoys jewelry and dressing up for occassions, she simply wants to be able to wrestle and play sports looking cute, is all.

I encourage her activity, because excercise is great for kids no matter their gender. I'd rather her be scraped and bruised and exhausted and healthy than overweight or afraid to get dirty, you know? In fact, in addition to excercise at school and after-school care, she takes combined martial arts 2-3 times per week.

I'm a SP, so there are not a lot of male influences in her life. Some, but not like there would be with a (proper) dad in the house. She is who she is, and I would do nothing to influence her either way. As long as the clothes are appropriate, and the activity is safe, she can be who she wants to be, with me cheering right behind her.

What are today's teenage stereotypes or 'youth tribes'?

ghetto / gangster - wears pants too low, sneakers, big shirts, grills and doo rags. listens to rap music about money sex and drugs and are members of gangs.

rocker - listen to screamo, wear too tight pants and have long, straight hair. wear too much jewelry and say things like dude and rad too much. often caught using ghetto slang, which annoys people and 1 out of every 3 wants to be in a band.

goth - listen to metal, hard rock and other nonsense that just gives head aches but has no lyrics that can be understood, 50 % chance of being suicidal, may be gay or bi, evil and worship satan.

scene - a culture made mostly of teenagers and is relatable to emo. It is a culture derived to reject the "norm". Scene kids might often be quoted as saying "I hate people that arn't themselves" or "I dress this way because this is who I am!". Ironically, there has become a set mold which scene kids seemingly strive to fit, and they all look/act the same.

emo - faking depression, cut themselves, crying over nothing, trying to fit on those tight black jeans without ripping a hole in the croch area, being annoying attention seeking pests.

sIut / whore - A chick that will spread her legs for anything of the male species. They also use their looks to get what they want...and if a guy wont do what they want they are then labeled 'gay' by the slut.

preppy-A common misconception is that a prep is someone who shops at American Eagle, Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister and pariticpates in school sports and activites.

pretty boy - A good looking teenage boy, not necessarily built. Usually has a
naturally clean cut appearance, dresses well (mainly prep gear), and is very aware of his hair, skin, etc. Constantly looks in the mirror to look perfect from head to
toe. Often confused for gay.

Who is the superhero with the coolest looking costume?

I think all/most superhero costumes looks really cool but here are my top 5:1. Captain UniverseWith my personal preference of all things galaxy and space, to say this costume is cool would be an understatement. Captain Universe is also not one person - nor a person at all, but a Uni-Power and a manifestation of the Universe itself. Oh, how I wish Captain Universe bonds with me!2. Cat WomanDue to my unquestionable love of cats and since we’re talking about looks, Cat Woman’s costume has to be in my list, especially her black leather outfit! The cute cat-eye goggle mask is also a great touch and I’m obsessed with it. I mean, just look at her!3. SupermanAh yes, the classic superhero that we all know and love. As it turns out, the colors of his costume were actually pretty rare during the time the comics were released. The blue in Superman's costume is literally the darkest shade of the traditional blue used for comic book coloring -- the costume also evoked a sense of wonder that was so unusual in comics of the time.4. The FlashThe Flash’s costume is easily one of the most unique superhero costumes out there. In fact, the sleek, lightning-themed red, yellow and white costume is so cool and popular that it remains one of the few superhero costumes to simply be brought over into movies/series without massive changes to the design. It is just that good! There have been tweaks over the years, like altering the logo on the chest or adding lenses to the eyes in the mask, but generally, the costume remains the same today as it did back in 1956.5. Spider-ManI wouldn't want to create a list of coolest superhero costumes without Spider-Man! The red and blue webbed costume and spider logo is one of the most unusual superhero costumes ever designed and it looks so cool! There’s a reason why basic costume design has remained the same for over 50 years, and it’s because his costume is really iconic! They are my top 5 but I do love most superhero costumes and I think they all look great. I really appreciate the time, effort, and talent of the people behind these costumes, they are legends! Is it ok to dry your clothes without a dryer sheet? Why or why not?

A dryer sheet is basically a really thin sheet coated with fabric softener. When it is heated by the steam from the clothes being dried and rotates in and around the clothes, it coats them with a thin layer of fabric softener and makes them feel softer and gives them a longer lasting scent. This is why people love the ‘Gain’ brand of products. Not because they clean well (because they don’t compared to Tide and Cheer), but because they make the clothes feel soft and leave them smelling great for weeks. If you have to use fabric softener I would suggest the dryer sheets rather than the actual liquid fabric softener especially if you have a “front load” washing machine. Why, You ask? Because liquid fabric softener is made of animal fat and front load washers if not taken care of properly tend to grow mold and mildew and fabric softener magnifies this condition.Anyhow back to the question: Will you die from not using it, no, but the clothes may feel dry to the point where they have an almost hard texture so you could feel it in things like jeans and khakis , however if you dry your clothes well and don’t over dry them they won’t be as hard and you may not notice the difference in using or not using dryer sheets. Personally I have a bit of OCD when doing clothes so I dry things correctly and I never Use fabric softener and I rarely use the dryer sheets.I hope this helps and if you liked my answer or learned something then please upvote it and think about following me
