How Do I Get Audio From My Xbox 360 Connected To My Pc Monitor

How do i connect an Xbox 360 to a hp w1907 monitor?

If you want to use an Xbox 360 with a monitor you either need a monitor with VGA in and a Xbox 360 VGA cable (sold seperately) or if your Xbox has HDMI out you can get an HDMI to DVI cable to use in a DVI port on your monitor. Those two things depend on your monitor.

As for sound the official 360 VGA cable comes with normal audio out (red and white) but you will need some sort of speakers unless your monitor has speakers built-in, in which case you will need an adapter to turn the split audio cables into one but could still use them. Otherwise just get some cheap speakers! Hope this helps.

How to connect an Xbox One to a pc monitor?

I want to hook up my Xbox One to my computer. I obviously have the HDMI cable since it comes standard with the Xbox One anyway. I know I need to connect the HDMI cable to the monitor but what happens once I do that? When I turn on my Xbox does the computer need to be on( not monitor ). And when I turn it on will I have to go and change settings on my pc to show the Xbox One screen. I have Windows 7 btw. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Connect Xbox 360 to a PC monitor.?

Well there's two options. The first gives higher-quality digital video (if you care about that), but is more fiddly. The second is simple, but uses analogue video.

If your Xbox has HDMI out, you can get an HDMI-DVI cable to connect to your monitor. You can pick up one of those at any electronics store, or for a few bucks from ebay. That'll give you the best possible video output, but no audio.

To get audio as well, you'll need to use the original composite/component cable. But seeing as the plug is too big for both to fit, the usual solution is to actually crack the case of the plug open and remove it. That way both the composite/component plug and the HDMI plug will fit in. You'll also need some adaptors to make sure everything can be wired to the line-in socket on your computer. Check my sources for a link with detailed instructions on doing all of that.

A simpler option is to buy the official Xbox 360 VGA adaptor. You should be able to pick up one of those from a game store or, again, from the ebays. That will let you plug in to the D-Sub input on your monitor, and has RCA leads for audio. But, if you want to plug that in to your computer's sound card, you'll still need the RCA - 3.5mm stereo adaptor.

How can I get sound from xbox when a monitor is connected?

Hey guys! I've finally managed to hook up my xbox 360 to my LED monitor. 24 inch, Samsung SyncMaster SA350 is my monitor. Unfortunately the monitor does not have built in speakers or such, so when I play on my computer ill have to plug in either headset or speakers. But thats not the thing. So i use a hdmi cable to connect my xbox 360 to my samsung monitor. But how the hell am i supposed to get sound out of this? there is no way for me to plug in the headset to the monitor or the xbox 360, so i can only play xbox 360 on my monitor without SOUND. Can anyone give me some information on the particular device/whatever i will have to buy in order to have sound on my xbox360/pcmonitor setup? Thanks in advance :)!

How do you connect an Xbox 360 to a PC?

Why do you need to connect an Xbox 360 to a PC? If you actually meant that you want to output the video from an X360 to a PC monitor, if your X360 has an HDMI slot (the older ones didn't have one), then use that to output to the monitor. Otherwise, you would need to convert from component video to DVI or HDMI, whichever is available as an input on the monitor. The other option is if you mean to stream video/audio from your PC to the X360 and maybe watch on your TV. This can be easily accomplished via DLNA. Check the below instructions for this:Streaming Media on Xbox I hope this answered your question.

Can Xbox be hooked to a computer monitor?

Yes. Xbox supports HDMI output for video and can be plugged into monitors supporting hdmi.

How do I use a laptop as a monitor for a Xbox One or any console without having a TV?

If your laptop is running Windows 10 if you search in the store there is an Xbox app you can then sign into the Xbox one app and stream your Xbox one onto the laptop. When you do this you need to plug your controllers into the laptop either by USB or Bluetooth instead of the Xbox One. The streaming service uses the power of the Xbox one and passes the image from the console to the PC via your network. You do need both the Xbox one and laptop on the same networkhttps://support.xbox.com/en-GB/g...

Xbox 360 to Computer Monitor + Sound System?

I got the Halo Reach Xbox 360 for Christmas but I have no T.V. Just 2 22" LG W2240T Screens (DVI, VGA)

I also have the Logitech 5.1 Sound System that supports composite audio.

Question is: How do I go from the xbox, either HDMI or Composite, to my computer LCD and then my speakers? I bought the HDMI to DVI adapter but then realized I wouldn't have sound because that cancels it out.

Help please? =P
