How Do I Get Minecraft On Windows 8

Can I run Minecraft on a PC with Windows 8 and 8 Gigs of RAM?

Minecraft will allocate ram appropriately having to much RAM allocated to Minecraft can actually slow down your game after all the game is based on math equations running in the background so it's mostly a processors intensive program. I myself have a 8 gigs of RAM on my surface pro and Minecraft only allocates 2gb and runs at a solid 60 fps due to the processors fast ability to do that math of generating new chunks. You have 8gb of ram Minecraft will allocate 1/4 of that to play the game.
