What is the difference between Yahoo Mail Basic and Yahoo Mail Full-Featured? What can I do / not do ?
Like you, I use email accounts solely for sending/receiving emails, so I won't report on any of the frills that Full-Featured may or may not have. The main difference that I've noticed between Basic and Full-featured is that Full-Featured has more ad-space. Basic has one advertisement on the right side of the page whereas Full-Featured has three - one on the right (just like Basic), a squarish one on the left, and a sneaky non-picture one at the very bottom that appears to be an email when you scroll far enough down the page.
My mail is stuck in basic mode. Why can't I change to the newest mail when I click the button to do so?

I have been using Basic mail on my older computer for years. Yesterday it switched to Full Featured. How can I go back to Basic?? Thanks!?

Do they read the mail coming in and out of basic training and ait?
At basic, they don't. They open them to insure there's no contraband, but they don't take the time to read them. There's nothing confidential that you'll come across so there's no reason. As for AIT, I doubt it. When I was in A-School in the Navy, I received my mail just like I would if it had come to my mailbox, unopened.
How long until basic training soldiers get their mail FROM family at home?
my husband is currently in basic training for the army at Fort Benning and I have heard that many people do not receive their mail there until weeks later is that true? I was told by many people that their husbands would write them asking why their wives haven't written back and they would be really upset when in fact the wives sent letters everyday. I am worried that he will not get my letters and think i am not writing him. I know mail call is so important to soldiers in training.
