Is it normal for cats to eat butter?
This is quite normal. There is no way I can leave butter out on the counter unattended. I have one that will get up there and eat it. Each cat is different in what they enjoy eating, but butter (being a dairy product) is quite normal for your cat to like to eat.
Why does my cat eat BUTTER,and is it bad for her?
okay, so my cat loves butter! its really weird. one morning we found tounge prints on the butter, and the next day i caught my cat up on the kitchen table licking the butter. we put a glass case over it and that helps. but sometimes we forget and she gets a tablespoon of butter. she'll even bite into the wrapper to try and get it. why does she like it? do cats like the taste of butter? is it really bad for her?

Does your cat eat “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter”?
He sure does — but he also eats carrots, muffins, paper, plants, and occasionally plastic (or, at least, he tries — until it is inevitably yanked away by a very frustrated pet parent). Frankly, I’m not inclined to trust his judgement on culinary matters, and I think his opinion should perhaps be taken with a grain of salt.
Is it okay for my cat to eat donuts, cake, and other sweets?
Whenever i bake something, i let my cat smell it and if he licks it, i break off a crumb and let him eat it. He likes cake, some cookies, and Entemenn's plain donuts [probably because of the lard]! I only give him little pieces. Is this okay? The vet tells us he is healthy and only slightly overweight [not from the treats because i don't give him that many]. I've had this cat for 13 years and he's always been very healthy but a little bit fat. He also eats corn [probably because the butter or something] Is this okay??

Why does any one eat it? Its not "real"....lol And cats eat a MEAT diet so stop trying to make the cat eat non-meat. And fish is not good for a cat. If you don't know how to properly feed a cat, then please rehome your cat to someone more capable. BTW soy is highly toxic to a cat - it will interfer with their blood and NEVER should be given!
My cats adores pea soup is it good for them?
I wouldn't feed it to them on a regular basis. My cats also love pea soup. I think it's because of the salty taste, they can probably smell and taste the ham/bacon that I make it with. If it's a canned pea soup, it usually has lard in it which is an animal fat. Cats love it! But, they're not meant to eat vegetables because they are carnivores. Once in a while it's ok to give them a very very small amount, but please feed your cat something else on a regular basis! Watch out, 'cause their poop is going to be smelly!

Is it ok to put pig lard on my dog's food.?
Dog (just like people, but unlike cats) can have serious problems with cholesterol. Pig lard pure fat and loaded with cholesterol. I'm assuming you have a reason for wanting to add it, but I can't think of any benefit. Personally, I prefer to add salmon oil to my dogs' food. They love the test and it has some really great health benefits. Raw or cooked, in small doses it probably will not make your dog immediately ill, but will add to long term health issues without adding anything of benefit.
