How Do I Get My Pc Checked And What Will The Cost Be I Want Windows Repaired If Needed

How much would I get charge to repair my apartment window blind?

The cost of a blind might be inexpensive. You would need to check on the cost of such a blind at your local Wal-Mart, Lowes, Ace hardware or Home Depot.

Your landlord might allow you to replace it yourself as long as it comforms with the other blinds in the rental unit. He might have such an item in storage for such incidents.

You would need to inquire of the landlord as to how you and he could solve this problem.

Normally landlord would not place expensive blinds in a rental unit, especially when he know there is a possibility of chicldre being in the rental units.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

How much does it cost to repair a computer crash?

Could be nothing. Depends on (1) whats wrong with your computer and (2) how good you are with computers.
I'm assuming that you don't know much about computers, and therefore, can't assess it, and therefore, have to bring it to geeksquad or something. if it's a hard drive failure then it could be hundreds. (if you know about computers, replacing a harddrive costs much less than 100).

Repeating Windows 7 startup repair failure.?

I built my own computer a few months back, but this is the second time this specific error has happened. On startup, Windows asks to do system restore from some unknown problem. Well the startup repair runs for somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes and says it failed. It says the root cause is this:
"Repair action: System Restore
Result: Failed. Error code = 0x1f
Time taken = 218636 ms

Repair action: System files integrity check and repair
Result: Failed. Error code = 0x490
Time taken = 690054 ms"

It shuts down my computer after I hit OK and seems to start up okay next time I power on. This specific scenario has happened twice so far, but wants to do a system restore at least once a week.
So I really have 2 problems. #1 is the failed restore and #2 is the unusually frequent need to system restore.
Help please, and thanks in advance.

Why do computer repair people need my laptop password for a hardware repair?

So my laptop cracked near the hinge as a result of poorly made plastic. It cracked under the pressure of opening and closing it.

They said they would replace that part for free but asked for my password. Why would they even need that? It's Windows 8.

My laptop became slow after giving it to a laptop repair shop. What might be the reason?

I have my own personal experience with this.Once I sent my cpu for repair to one ofy uncle in neighborhood who happens to run a computer repairing shop. When he returned it I found my cpu to be slow.I don't know if he thinks me to be dumb or such but I was a tech enthusiast.I figured the case might be with the Ram. I checked it in control panel and voila my 3GB ram (3+1) was only 2GB ram :/I checked dxdiag and the same result. Then I picked up a torched and tried to look inside the cabinet case and voila. In one of the slot there was no ram :3I contacted him and said “Uncle I think you forgot to put one of my Ram in the slot when you finished repairing”He got perplexed and said “oh. the guy who works here might have forgot to put it back.Do you want other Rams I have better Rams you can try one of those.”I said “No uncle give me back my own Ram”.The next moment he was in my home and put it back.I didn't say a word. He left.I never contacted him again. I guess he learnt his lesson and would never do such a thing with people especially kids. Cuz these days kids are smarter than you think. So this might be the case with you too.He could replace a motherboard, processor etc with old ones. That’s why I recommend to always opt for servicing from registered dealers. Like if you have a hp laptop always try to choose hp for servicing and repairing. They won't want to lose their good will.If they lose they will lose their market. And keep a record of what equipments you got with product ID if possible.

How much does it cost to replace a laptop screen?

It really depends on what’s broken and the physical reality of your laptop.Firstly, do you know for sure it's just the screen that’s broken? It could be the very delicate cables that connect your motherboard to your screen. They can become dislodged or damaged, causing screen issues, but those problems will not be resolved by replacing the screen. You should plug it into an external monitor, assuming you've got a VGA or HDMI output, and make sure the computer itself is working okay. Check all the video and audio drivers are updated, and make sure the BIOS video settings as well as the OS display settings are all where they should be.After that, you will probably end up paying $50–$150 for a screen and then another $50-$150 for a shop to do the work, just like the other answer stated.
