How Do I Get My Rabbitry Noticed

I walked into feed my rabbit and i noticed he was licking down there(hispenis)and well he had it sticking out?

All animals that can reach their private parts will lick them to keep them clean. It's normal and natural. A rabbit's penis normally is hidden inside its body but there is nothing wrong with it being exposed and he won't die.

I got a pair of rabbit, and i noticed that as they grow older the fur on their nose area disappears.... I?

I dont know if this is some kind of a disease because when u look at their noses..it seem that they have a kind of scabies....the other one showed signs of bleeding...It looks like it some kind a itchy to them.. But they dont look like sick or something because they are still active and healthy.. is this something i should be alarmed of....

What do I do if my rabbit eats plastic? I noticed that she was eating a shopping bag, but so far I haven't seen any difference in her behaviour. Should I take her to the vet?

My rabbit chewed through a plastic case and ate the styrofoam-ish padding inside, which unfortunately was not… just plastic. And he died horribly. Don’t let the rabbit chew on things that aren’t fiber or food. I might add that a shopping bag however is probably not going to hurt him unless it causes some weird constipation.

I noticed a flea on my rabbit, what is the best way to get rid of anymore that might be there?

Thanks for the A2A. The best way is to get a fined-toothed flea comb and groom your rabbit for fleas. Should you notice anymore fleas, or any eggs, you'll need to start your rabbit on a flea course treatment immediately, as some types of flea carry myxomatosis, which is fatal for rabbits.A vet will be able to provide the right treatment. It's important you don't apply any flea treatment to your rabbit that is intended for other animals, such as cats, because the dosage will be too strong. In terms of future prevention, if you have a cat or dog you should apply flea treatment every 3 months (depending on the product). If you don't have a cat or dog then your rabbit has caught fleas either from a visiting cat or dog, or it is a rabbit flea.In either instance you can groom your rabbit weekly for fleas and ensure their bedding is dry and clean.Hope your rabbit gets a clean bill of health soon!

My Rabbit won't eat his pellets and noticed two mushy poo's?

Okay, here's a little bit about my rabbit. He's a 10 month old Netherland Dwarf and has never had an issue eating. I buy Kaytee brand stuff, so his food is pellets with a bunch of other little num nums in it like dried carrot, dried green leaf things and he will only eat the yummy things not the actual pellets ! He would rather starve than eat his pellets :/ I know this because I didn't give him the yummy bits for 3 days and he didn't touch his pellets. He eats his Timothy Hay when its in his cage, refuses to eat it if it's in a holder. Today I noticed two piles of poop that looked similar to bird poo but it was hard not wet. What is going on with him? He hasn't lost his appetite, hes munching on his hay right now and eats the yummies from his food. He still gnaws on his wood chews, very alert and spunky still, nothing has changed about him. I looked at his bottom and there's no stains but it did look like he had a pellet in his bum, but he might have been in the midst of doing his business because I picked him up when he was in his toilet section.

Is my rabbit pregnant?

did you see them humping? 'cause if not, she's not pregnant! and if she is, leave her alone, she will neglect her bunnies if you touch her/the bunnies.

are you sure the other one is a male?

Does my rabbit have wry neck!?

I got a female holland lop for FFA about 3 weeks ago, and about 35 minutes ago (10:05 PM) I noticed that my rabbit's neck is tilted, but barely. I can't really notice it unless I'm really looking head on at her, and it seems to be on and off. I'm so worried. Can you help?

My rabbit died, how do I move on?

You cry until you're done crying, and go on about your life, and repeat. In time, you'll cry less.  Sometime after that, you will start noticing rabbits. One day, you will think of getting one.  (If your bunny died because of a contagious illness, please sterilize all his toys and house.)One day, you will realize that the best way to prove your deceased bunny was truly a wonderful animal is to provide a home for another bunny, or two.  They will be different, but they need homes too, and you are someone who can give a home to a rabbit.  (I am not.)It will come.  You will possibly care for 20-50 rabbits over the course of your life, if you stay on that path.  They will all be wonderful, in their own bunny way, and they will all be different, and they all need you.

Why is my rabbit purring?

When rabbits are happy and content, they click their teeth together, and it sounds like purring. When I fist heard my rabbit “purring”!What Do Rabbits Mean When They Chatter Their Teeth at You?But be careful, because if your bunny is chattering her teeth especially loudly, she may be in pain or be struggling emotionaly. I would check her over, and if it persists loudly for long periods of times, call a vet.
