How Do I Get Rid Of An Echoing In My Ear From An Earache

Why do I hear an echo in my ear when I'm talking?

That could be built up ear wax. Sometimes water from a shower or bath can become trapped on the other side of the drum because of the wax. I kept hearing sloshing. I had something similar last year. Although I had used hydrogen peroxide, candelled both ears it persisted so I finally bit the bullet and went to a doctor who flushed the ear wax out. It was amazing!

Hearing an echo after an ear infection?

I had two children who went through the same thing over and over again. This is what the audiologyst told me, and the ear specialist's. And you sound like what they reported also. Everytime you burst your ear drum, it leaves scar tissue. My girls had allergies and so the fluid just kept building up, leaving a barrier of fluid that blocked the sounds out, to the point that they could not hear much at all. my youngest had the most severe, and also reported the vibrations you refer to. she had inner ear infections too, and if you have any damage to the inner areas you might feel like you are talking too loud and or vibrating. You did not say how long ago it started, but I would suggest that you see a ear, throat and eye specialist to rule any of that out. I think just to be on the safe side, my daughter's ear drum burst and she did do damage to a valve, so that is why I would recommend the doctor.

So my right ear has been bothering me like i hear echoes and my ear throbs i dont know wut to do?

That is a long time to have that problem but there should be relief for you. Tight neck muscles are causing those problems for you. The muscles go to the top of your head passing just inside of the ears. When the neck muscles are tight they can press into the nerves to cause pains and/or hearing loss. In your case it is amplifying the sounds. When you swallow the muscles move on the nerves to cause the crackling sounds. When your neck muscles are tight they are also pressing into your throat area and pressure onto the gag reflex area of your throat will cause you to feel nauseous. When the neck muscles are tight they can restrict the blood flow in your head so less oxygen makes it to the brain. There are three levels of lowered oxygen levels in the brain and they are; feeling very tired; getting dizzy or light headed; and passing out. When you close your eyes and you tense up your neck muscles a bit it's causing the restriction to happen in the blood flow to have the problem happen then. Most often people notice this problem when they are standing up which requires the back and neck muscles to do a lot of pulling, also adding pressure into those muscles. To get rid of these problems you have to release your neck muscles to free up the tight ones pressing into the nerves and restricting the blood flow and here's how to do that release:
Neck:
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle, behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. After 45 seconds slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck in the lowered position for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
Those muscles have been tight a long time so you may need to repeat this a time or two to get the full effects from it. Did you have a fall or some kind of accident when younger that would have affected those muscles? A blow to the head or something like that could have caused them to tighten up so much.

Echo in ear when working out?

its nothing to worry about. when you run and work out as hard as you do you get your heart pumping/ your heart rate rises causing your blood pressure to rise. when your blood pressure rises as high as it does when you train you get some reactions, one being the echo in the ears.

I have an echo in my right ear?

So this morning I woke up and took a shower. Then a couple of hours later after I took the shower i realized that I can hear this echo type thing only in my right ear. I did not hear it immediatly after I took the shower- right after the shower my hearing was totally normal. Towards the afternoon I started hearing the echo.
I am thinking that it is probably because of wax buildup or maybe water got in my ears or something. Its not tinnitus because I only hear the echo if the tv is on or if someone is talking to me. besides that everything is fine.

I am planning on going through today without doing anything (not going to the doc) If it is still like this tomorrow or the day after then I am going to make an appointment.
I was just wondering- what do you guys think this is?

I'm hearing things weird. Ear infection?

Hi there. Well on Friday (It is Wednesday now) my head started feeling like it had lots of pressure in it. I was out in the cold and wind a lot, so I figured it was just from the wind (that happens sometimes.) The next morning I started hearing things that sound like an alien talk, sort of like an echo in my ear of something more high pitched. Sort of sounds like an alien talking into a fan. It is only one some pitches, but it's still annoying.. and sorta trippy. :P
My mom was going to put homeopathic drops in my ears that she uses for when I have ear aches and things. But my friend told me today that she had the same thing and went to the doctor and he said she had an ear infection and gave her some meds. My mom doesn't like taking me to the doctor because he is far away, so is there anything else I can do? And is this actually an ear infection?

Thanks a lot! :D

I hear an echo in my ears.. PLEASE READ!!HELP?

I woke up this morning with a constant echo in my right ear. It doesn't hurt, I haven't been sick. But the louder the noise (tv, talking, etc.) the louder the echo. Anyone know what's wrong?
It doesn't hurt but it's driving me crazy!
I should clarify, it's not really an echo where I'm hearing everything twice, it's more of an "amplifying" of noises. And it's really driving me crazy. I was sick for a few days, So idk if it's that. Is therew any medicine/eardrops I can get. I dont have a doctor. I dont know if I have to go to the emergency room or where. I dont even have insurance... please help
