How do you get rid of and what causes a male musky smell in a guys room?

Possible Cause:If it's not sweaty clothes, or unwashed sheets, it's probably sperm. Most guys masturbate in their room--how they dispose of their sperm is an important thing to consider. If they just put it in an uncovered trash bin, the trash bin will smell up the room. After a guy ejaculates, there is still some ejaculate in the shaft of the penis when it deflates and so the underwear they are wearing can begin to stink and get a sort of sour smell to it. So if they put this in a laundry bin, the laundry bin can get an odd smell to it. Suggestion:A suggestion would be to use a trash bin with a cover and even throw baking soda in there to absorb the smell so opening it doesn't cause an unpleasant surprise. The other suggestion would be to do their laundry often. Finally, the best suggestion to fix this would be to just masturbate in the shower.

Smells like mold and beer in my basement bedroom?!?!?!?!?

FYI I am NOT an expert but I do know about humidity which is the number one cause of mold. Since your basement is below ground level, the moisture (humidity) levels on your block walls stay at or close to 100%. Mold and algae both grow in leaps and bounds when it is under sunlight, since it is not in direct sunlight it grows extremely slow in the bricks. It has probably been in there for years even if you cant see it.
The easiest way to get rid of moisture (believe it or not) is to run the air conditioner. It actually draws the moisture out of the air. That is to help the smell and the growing of mold. The way to keep it out is to get an air purifier. There are several out there but do your research and make sure you get one to match or exceed the sq. ft. in that basement. (i.e.- if your room is 15x10, thats 150 ft2, so get a purifier that cycles at least 150 ft2 per hour).
It shouldnt take but a week of running the ac down there along with a purifier to really notice a change. I hope it helps. P.S.- If its too cold to run the a/c then put a small de-humidifier down there and run it as much as you can at first until you get a handle on the smell.

How to get musty basement smell out of massage table?

I had a massage table stored in my Aunt's musty, moldy basement for a few months, and now it smells just like it.
I've had it out of there for a few weeks, but the smell is lingering in the foam that's underneath vinyl.
I don't think I can really wash the foam, as the vinyl won't let any water through; it doesn't seem to be letting much air through, for that matter.
The table was stored inside a canvas-type carrying case that had some mold on the bottom of it; I hosed that down and let it air dry, but it still smells. What would be the best way to kill the mold without using toxic chemicals?
I don't want to douse anything in perfumes - just get back to a nice, no-smell table.

Thanks!
