Small white bumps on scrotum?
They're just hair follicles under the skin most people have them in that area

These are hair follicles. Congratulations, this is a normal part of becoming a man. For some reason this is not taught in schools, where the textbooks must be written by hairless mutants. Do not alarm yourself. If they bother you, you can trim them later.

Probably just hair follicles. It doesn't sound serious to me, or harmful. And this question doesn't sound in any way offensive, so why would Yahoo think that?

i have a white pimple like bump on my scrotum. i tried to pop it, but i can't. then i tried to pick it and it just bleed. it has white stuff in it like a pimple, but it won't come out. i have never had sex, so it can't be a std. is it a white mole? its kinda bigger than a regular pimple. please help?

Okay, so I have white bumps on my scrotum. They don't hurt unless I squeeze at them and such. Some of them have been there for a long time (I'm talking many months) and some of them were just small ones that when I squeezed, they "popped" and a white, sort of creamy substance came out, pretty much identical to in-grown hairs elsewhere (which confirms the doctor's thoughts, somewhat). I do shave that area and when I had my last checkup at the doctor, he says that it's just in-grown hairs or something of the sort. I'm not sexually active with anyone (nor have I previously been) so I don't think it's any kind of STD. My problem is, though, that once I do become sexually active with a partner, this problem could be embarrassing and might also raise suspicion in my partner. The doctor says a warm compress on the bumps will help them to go away but this didn't seem to help (he still thinks there is no reason for concern). Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone have a solution that has worked for them or any suggestions as to how to alleviate this problem? Sorry for the somewhat long read, just trying to be descriptive enough to hopefully get an answer. Please, only serious answers... I'm not looking to be ridiculed. It causes itchiness somtimes, especially when I'm sitting still and thinking about it. Anyway, I have a girlfriend who had had sex with 4 other guys before she met me and she never asked any of them about their sexual history. She went in to get checked for stds and it turns out she is clean.. I have had these bumps for 2 weeks now. I am worried what they might be. I am unable to see a doctor for another month.. because I don't have a doctor of my own so I tried going to my dads doctor.. but they consider me a "new patient" and wouldn't be able to see me for another month. I don't want to become infertile by not going in soon enough. I don't know what is wrong with me. Any suggestions? thanks.

depends on what the bumps look like...Its definitely not HIV, your friend is an idiot. If the bumps are just small white bumps, like the kind that maybe a hair could be coming through, now or in the future, it could be just that. Most guys have small bumps from hair follicles like that on the scrotum and the base of the penis. If they turn into a scab, then you need to get checked out, but if they dont hurt or change you will probably be ok. Get checked out if you are sexually active though, as some STDs can take a long time to manifest.
