Itchy rash and dry skin on the back of my neck?
I don't know what it could be, but you can try using Head and Shoulders shampoo, or any other shampoo that relieves dry skin near the scalp. Although it's not directly on the scalp, it's close enough, and it should work.

Without a photo it’s hard to say and I’m not a physician. But just from the description it could be psoriasis.Please give Eucerin Redness Relief Cleanser for Sensitive Skin a try just as a temporary measure to cleanse your skin and your neck, until you see your doctor. Be gentle. No scrubbing. Just use your fingertips to gently move the cleanser around your skin. Splash your skin clear of cleanser as much as needed and with a clean washcloth wrung out in warm water, gently dab your neck until the cleanser is gone. Just dab along your jawline to prevent dripping and let your skin air dry.Use Eucerin Intensive Dry Skin Relief. It’s an occlusive in a tube. It will lock in moisture and won’t sting. Even Vaseline will do. You want a product that will hold in the moisture, protect it from the elements and heal the dryness until you talk to your doctor or visit him. Dry, red, rough rash on my neck?
I've had this rash on my neck for about two weeks now. It started small, and I thought it was just dry skin from the cold weather but it has spread and gotten worse in the last few days. What is it from and how can I get rid of it? I keep putting lotion on it but it stings when I do. I have a banquet next week to go to and I want to be rid of it by then!

Hey:) I was wondering how I could get rid of dry/rashed skin on my neck.. I'm guessing it's either a foundation or a fake tan i'm using that has given me this horrid blotchy dry skin so i've decided not to wear any for a while until I find a new good one. I was wondering what I could do to clear it up though? It's so horrid :( thanks xx

do you wear a shirt w/ a collar when you sleep? Not sure what climate you live in but often when people are hot at night they develop minor exema which really just requires showering a lot and maybe some medicated anti-itch lotion. Given that the one on your collar bone went away I would not think this is something bacterial or fungal like poison ivy, poison oak or poison sumac. Also, because you haven't developed other ithcy areas on your legs or open skin I would not imagine it is systemic. So, I think the first answerer is correct in that lotion and neosporin are your best bet and I would imagine it's heat rash of some sort from sweat or stress.

Red itchy burning scaly look and texture skin on neck?
Hi. I'm 13 and I've recently been expirencing this weird rash thing on the front of my neck. I think it may be from a necklace my now ex boyfriend gave me because when I wore it (only wore once) and took it off I first started having these red itchy bumps on the side of my neck but they soon went away so I didn't really worry about it. But then me an my boyfriend broke up so I threw away the necklace and never wore it again. It also seemed cheap. Anyway a few days later my neck now has this red itchy burning scaly texture an look on the front which is not a good look. I've never had anything like this before and I'm really desperate to get rid of it cause its driving me nuts. :(
