How Do I Get The Best Online Gaming Experience On My Xbox 360 What Do I Need To Configure On My

How is XBOX 360 & It's Online Gaming?

Even though I didn't really want one (it was a gift), would have much rather had a PS3 (I think?) I do thoroughly enjoy my XBox 360.

My only raps are #1) Mine came bricked like (business analyst Gartner estimates) almost 1 of every 3 does. You might as well just make plans to send it back and be without it for a month. Unless you do what, for some reason, hardly anyone ever does, which is go back to the store and demand a working one.

#2 unless you really enjoy shooting people in the face, there's not many games out there. I got Viva Pinata, I usually like those AI / Sims games, and it's cool, but the multiplayer isn't what I expected at all. You CAN play some casual games like UNO, etc, with other people online, but these aren't exactly the blockbuster titles you're plunking all this money down for right?

It's a toss up I guess. If you do at least get the middle of the line (not the Arcade not the Elite (unless you want)) I forget the name. (Me personally I thoroughly enjoy shooting ppl in the face (in a video game!!) people :OP

How do I get online with my Xbox 360?

You really don't need a router unless you want to be online on the computer and the xbox at the same time. All you have to do is connect your ethernet cable that goes from your modem to your pc, Connect it from the modem directly to your XBOX 360. If you have the router its basically the same thing you wire it from your router to the xbox 360. You also will need to purchase XBOX Live in order to play games and such online.

What gaming platform is best for an adult - Xbox, PS, or Wii?

Xbox 360 by far.
With any gaming console, eventually you'll want to put some form of card on it (credit, debit, prepaid, etc) and you will want to purchase digital games. Well Sony (owners of the Playstation Network, and Sony Online Entertainment) Got hacked, in essance this means over 1 million customers credit cards were stolen, and there has been numerous reports of hacks throughout this year of Sony's online service. In essence, Playstation may offer a free service, what your getting may very well cost you your credit card, password for psn, and possibly even your identity.

Xbox 360 on the other hand, owned by Microsoft, one of the biggest companies in the world has a very safe and reliable service, I'd trust them and this is the very reason why I purchased the 360 slim 250 gb. Plus you get to enjoy Kinect, the 360's controller-less sensor that lets you play a variety of Kinect games without any controller, and this Christmas it will be huge due to some of the new games being released by microsoft. As for the games you get to enjoy Mass effect 1 and 2 (great third person rpg) Fable 2 and 3, Dragon Age Origins, Awakening, Dragon Age 2, Gears of War 1 and 2. And those are just the ones released, within this year many many more rpgs will be released for the 360 and KINECT so you'll get some of the best gaming experiences available.

What Do I Need To Do To Make My Own Games Console Like PlayStation 3?

Well, the PS3 has a 9-core Cell processor that cost hundreds of millions of dollars and several years to develop. The XBox 360 has a custom 3-core processor that works differently. They both have licensed tech from NVidia and ATI for their graphics cards. The rest of the hardware is completely custom.

Now, the PS3 lost Sony and MS hundreds of millions of dollars that they hope to recoup through games and accessories. The XBox alone lost MS several BILLION dollars that was never regained, even though they had a decent console. Phantom/Infinium technologies tried to compete, and burned through tens of millions of dollars and never released a console.

So, the answer is this - you need:
*$1,000,000,000 or more in financing.
*Hundreds of designers, programmers, and other specialists to design the hardware.
*A company with managers and buildings to manage the business.
*An in-house or hired company to handle marketing. (Expect to spend $100,000,000 or more on marketing. MS spent way more than this on the XBox.)
*Third party developers MUST be convinced to make games, and invest tens of millions of their own money into game development for your console.
*10-20 years of gaming-related management experience.
*An absolutely killer idea that is fully developed to pitch to investors
*lots more.

So, I'd suggest getting a Masters degree in business and gaming development and start from there.

Which Gaming Console Should I Get?

@ Sahil - WTF are you talking about? Lol
I have experienced both consoles. PS3 haves free internet access and you can play DVD movies in blue-ray. The best game for this console is Uncharted, I love the series (:
Xbox 360 you have to pay $50 a year for a gold membership to be able to have internet access. It haves tons of cool apps like Netflix, Hulu, Zune, etc. You get DLC sooner than PS3, much more people playing in multi-player campaign (MW3, Minecraft and Halo the most) more accessories like Turtle Beach x12 headphones which I love lol and Kinect is really fun but I will suggest getting it only if your household is big or you have lots of friends who visit you. My personal opinion is if you are cheap get PS3, if money is not a problem get Xbox 360 (:
