How Do I Get The Regular Youtube Homepage Back

How do I restore the old YouTube layout?

ChromeOpen a Youtube pagePress Control+Shift+I (that is an I as in information)Application tab on top (may have to click the arrows to view more tabs)On the left, in Storage, expand "cookies"Click on the cookie for YoutubeOn the right, you should see columns for "Name" and "Value"In the Name column, there should be one called "PREF". If this is missing, do something on the Youtube page to create it. Just disable autoplay on a video or change the sort order if you are viewing someone's videos in their profileFor PREF, double-click the Value to edit it and replace it with f6=8 or add it to what is already there with &f6=8Click off of the Value or press enter to save it and then refresh the page. All Youtube pages will now use the old layout

WHY WON'T MY YOUTUBE VIDEOS STAY FULLSCREEN!?

[ I don't think I have ever seen a response as stupid and self-serving as answerer # 3:
"computer or network may be too slow", therefore buy our downloader and converter.

Your internet connection speed has absolutely nothing to do with 'full screen'. If you
are able to watch a video in 'regular view', you should also be able to do the same in
'full screen' mode. Don't get suckered by the disguised salespeople here on Yahoo.]

The solution to your problem may depend on what version of
of "Flash" you have installed.

Play the video in regular view (not full-screen), and right-click
on the actual video itself. From the dropdown menu, click on
"Settings". If you see 5 square icons on the bottom row, you
might be in luck.

The first 2 icons should both show a computer monitor. Click
on the one that has an "eye" on the bottom of its screen; it's
usually the first icon. You should thus see "Enable hardware
acceleration". If the checkmark box shows "confirmed", click
it off, and then click on "Close".

Although my advice to you seemingly goes against the basic
principle of "flash", it actually works. Please doublecheck for
yourself by going to Flash's own website -- and then read the
2nd-to-last FAQ near the very bottom. Here is my written-out
version of the full URL reference, followed by its link:

Otherwise, you may have a faulty version of Flash -- probably
one of the newest versions. The only thing that most updates
are good for is introducing all kinds of software and computer
conflicts. You should maybe consider this old "Best Answer"
of mine:

Why does Youtube keep signing me out?

It's not like it happens every day, but sometimes I'll be on Youtube and it'll just randomly log me out for no reason. Usually when I go from one video to another. And what's even more confusing is it happens in different ways. Like sometimes it will log me out completely, sometimes it will switch from my actual channel to some account that has apparently been created with the name of my Gmail (which I don't see the point of because the whole point of giving Youtube my GMail was for my channel), sometimes I will have to type my password in and sometimes it will just prompt me to sign in either as my regular channel name or my Gmail, sometimes I will try to comment and it tells me I need to sign into my Google account even though I apparently can do everything else such as rating videos and comments using my regular channel. It's like the rules change every day.

My youtube text shrunk?

You've probably just changed the browser's zoom setting, usually found on the browser's "View" menu.

On Firefox: View -> Zoom -> Reset.
On Opera: View -> Zoom -> 100%.

Internet Explorer and Chrome will have similar options.

Some browsers also use these keys to control zoom setting.

Ctrl +   (plus) (bigger)
Ctrl -   (minus) (smaller)
Ctrl 0   (zero) (reset to 100%)

Some of them also use Ctrl and the middle mouse wheel to change zoom level. Users who don't know this often accidentally change the zoom without realising why :)

Why does youtube take so long to load videos in full screen?

Because your computer is devoting more time to taking the information it is getting, and resizing every chunk of the video so that it is the right size for the screen. That takes a good chunk of memory to do so therefor the sending and receiving of the video gets put on the backburner, causing your computer and youtube/NBC's server to not send as much information between them.

If you dont want to deal with buffering you have to wait for it to load before full-screening. Or get a better video card. Its probably not your internet.

How do I view who is subscribed to me on Youtube?

You go to the Youtube creator studio, which should be somewhere in the upper right-hand corner of your screen on Youtube. It’s under your little username icon. Click that, then it will take you to your dashboard. On the left, click the community category. Then click subscribers.
