Permanently delete or get rid of sponsored ads in yahoo mail inbox?

How do I permanently get rid of sponsored ads in my yahoo mail inbox?Need help!!Every time I
go to my yahoo mail to check email there is a different sponsored ad there above my email messages and this has become rather extremely irritating and It really angers me a lot every time I see it!!
Which is every day..every day there is a different one!!I have included a photo of what I mean.
I want a effective, simple solution and nothing I would have to install either for fear of infecting my pc!!
Need suggestions. As you can see the sponsored ad is about a 2003 Jeep Wrangler but every day it
is a different one!!!I just want my email inbox to be sponsored ad free and to have more space for
email!!!Help!!..... :(

Should I use my spam email filter? That would take forever cause there are a million ads like this one that will appear day after day!!

Yahoo mail plus is $19.99 a year!!!there are no ads but that is a lot and doesn't seem worth it when yahoo mail regular version is free to use.

I cannot delete emails I received. some functions of email are greyed out.?

Yahoo is introducing its 2013 version of YMail. It is causing the problem you describe. Don't change any computer settings. We saw the same thing in 2009 when Yahoo was introducing its newest YMail. There were many problems. Only 2%-5% of users experience a problem on any day. None of the normal "help" tips work. The problem clears up for those users in 2 days or 2 weeks. Then a different group of users has the problem. This continues for up to 6 weeks. The problems rotate around and the "error messages" don't explain anything. Yahoo considered a "Current Problems" page where you could go to see if you were alone. Right now you can go to suggestions.yahoo.com or to Y!A to see if anyone else has the problem. When Yahoo is done with the 2013 updates, the problems will all disappear at once.
The only thing that works today is to switch to another browser for a few days (altho Yahoo is supposed to work with all browsers). Otherwise, you just have to wait until Yahoo gets things fixed. They always do.

I cannot delete emails from my inbox. i use horde webmail?

ah. horde.
whenever you delete, it goes to your trash folder. this folder counts towards your mail quota, and when your mailbox is full you wont be able to 'delete' anymore.

go to mail options and enable the 'purge trash' link. return to your mailbox and click 'purge deleted/trash' and your trash will go, along with the space it was using. you should be able to resume email deletion then.

Can't delete the mail in my Spam folder?

Check your computer first, Nick. Scan your computer for any 'bug' or 'bugs.'
Once it is clean of pests, install a firewall and an anti-virus program if you do not have one yet.
I strongly recommend a program for malware and adware also. Clean out any unnecessary data from your computer, delete Internet temporary files, history, cookies, saved passwords, and web information, plus any duplicate files. Store any added data on a USB drive, Zip drive, CD, or DVD. After that, do the maintenance on your computer: 1- Disk clean, 2- Check disk, 3- Disk defragmenter. If you have a registry cleaner, use it. This should help to give you some space back and get your computer in better shape and working faster. Do it regularly to help to keep it that way.
(Once a month should work, unless you use your computer a lot, than once a week)
Once done, go back into Yahoo and see if that has helped. If you continue to have trouble, contact service representative and explain the problem to them.

How do I delete all the emails in my Gmail inbox by one action only?

Note: This only works for Gmail and is updated to March 2, 2019. Lots of these posts are old and thus not relevant anymore since Gmail is always changing the layout. This does not pertain to unsubscribe, but there is a blurb at the end for those who asked since it is relevant for spam.Follow the below steps carefully:In the left box where you can see your different mailboxes (Inbox, Sent, etc), scroll down and select ‘More’.Select ‘All Mail’Click the check-mark to select all the emails in the current view, and then click ‘Select all x conversations in All Mail” (see screenshot)Hit the garbage can button above the emailsThen, select ‘Trash’ from the same left box where your different mailboxes are show and select ‘Trash’.Click the box above to select all the messages in the folder and click ‘Delete Forever’.Now all of your emails are deleted forever. This does not unsubscribe you from spam emails. Even in google’s spam folder, it does not catch all the spam, and sometimes mistakenly puts important emails in there. Also, sometimes you do not have the username and password to unsubscribe, and you are not able to.For this, tools exist. A famous example is Unroll.me.I personally prefer newer applications, of which there are many. These have better usage and design and take less time.My personal favorite is Mr Clean, linked here. This one automatically identifies the least relevant emails and allows you to delete them or even put them in a hidden folder that deletes after 30 days. I like this function in case I mistakenly put something.Best of all, no spam and easy unsubscribing means a less cluttered life and more focus on the things that make me smile, like my pet fish Dracula and eating pancakes in my overalls.
