How Do I Get Thick Thighs

How can you get thicker thighs?

No matter how thin your legs are you can always build thicker thighs by doing “squats”. Squats are called the king of exercises for a reason. It's also a perfect analogy of life. When something heavy tries to take you down, you fight the fear and stand up.You can start to build your leg strength by doing body weight squats first. Be ready for pain which would make you limp! But remember that's when legs grow. You can start doing body weighted lunges and jump squats after two weeks of bodyweight squat training. Then you can start doing light weight squats, leg pressses, walking lunges with light weights. Then slowly start to increase the resistance by increasing the weights. You'll start to see the difference in your thighs size and strength.

If you have a lot of trouble gaining weight, talk with your doctor first so they know you plan on gaining weight. They may have some simple suggestions.

To gain weight, you need to take in more energy (calories) from food than you expend through activity. It is a slow process, but can be done methodically and successfully if you figure out your body first.

For a week or so, figure out how much you are eating. Take note of the size of your meals, and what types of foods you eat. Do you get enough complex carbohydrate (whole grains, beans, fruits, vegetables), protein (dairy, meat, soy, egg), and fats (nuts, oils, seeds)?

Generally, to grow and gain weight, you'll have to increase your protein intake. But don't worry, this doesn't mean spending tons of money on protein shakes. Just increase your intake of lean meats, eggs, dairy and beans. For example, make a turkey sandwich, peanut butter sandwich, or a mix of cottage cheese and fresh fruit. Bring this with you when you go to work out. Eat half before, and half after your workout.

The exercises you will want to focus on will target your core (for stability) and the two main joint-centers of your lower body - your hips, and your knees.

Squats
Dead Lifts
Bicycle Kicks
Step Ups
Star Jumps
Lateral Lunges

Try doing three of these exercises during a 30 minute workout. Then rest for a couple of days, and do the other three. For each exercise, repeat 10 times per set, and do two sets. As you get stronger, add another set, and then add weight.

Good luck!

How do you get thicker thighs?

I have really skinny legs and I'm 20 years old! I wish I had those thick legs like girls my age. I still look like I'm in the body of a 15 year old. HOW DO YOU GET THICKER LEGS??? (Please be as specific as you can and DO NOT answer if you're just gonna say Eat more or Eat fat foods like McDonalds and Burger King) Thanks a lot.

Do guys like thick thighs?

i do. i wouldnt want my girls thighs to be thicker than mine though

How to deal with thick thighs?

OMG, this is my exact same situation, except I've kinda learnt what works and what doesn't. I don't usually wear trousers but some jeans can look really good if you've got the *** too ; ) And those smart office type trousers can also slim your thighs, but that isn't really my style so I usually wear skirts and dresses with tights... never wear leggings, they will make your thighs look 10 times bigger! LOL.

My upper body is quite slim... I'm assuming yours is too from what you said. So because of this, I like to wear tight fitting tops or tops that show off my collarbone or my neck... it seems to go quite nicely with shapely thighs.Longer skirts work with bigger thighs... pencil skirts for example, especially if you have a nice booty. Being slim with thick thighs isn't necessarily a bad thing - imo, guys seem to love them. I get stopped so often because of my thighs it's unbelievable LOL. But just make sure they stay toned... wobbly is never good. I do squats every night and sit ups to keep my tummy flat... squats help keep my butt and thighs nice and tight, with a good shape.

For comparison, I'm 20. 5ft 4 and a size 2/4 (usa) top, and 6/8 (usa) bottom.

Hope this helps.

How to get thick thighs quick?

My advice is simple (and very effective things):

Beyonce has said HERSELF that to keep her thighs nice and beautiful, she does many many squats. Just do some squats whenever you just watch TV or have free time!

My advice, is to WALK WALK WALK. That's how I got my legs and butt. I swear. I use to walk almost all day to get beautiful legs like Beyonce's. I'm Asian, I'm supposed to have those scrawny Asian legs, but when I started walking a lot, they ended up thicker, and I have a nice big butt (haha). But It's not bulky either. Also when your walking, sometimes it's good to do kicks when you're walking. Or you could pretend that you are marching, making sure your feet hit the ground really hard in the middle of your walks.

Bike ride. I wouldn't just suggest jogging, because it's just straight out boring, and I hate when people always look at you when your jogging by. So I just bike rode. When you want to pick up some groceries, if your market is nearby (and your not planning to get too much) you can hang your light grocery bags on the bike and just bike ride to the store on days that aren't busy.

Unfortunately, I began to hate my thick legs and started wanting scrawny model legs instead of athletic, nice, Beyonce legs. Therefore, I'm trying to get off the thickness. *Sigh*

EDIT: The other women who responded to this, who believe that the thick legs you want are made out of fat and cellulite don't know what they are talking about! Beyonce's sexy legs are from muscle! Therefore she has a beautiful hour glass shape. Therefore, don't gain fat, gain muscle!

Is it OK to have thick thighs if you have a nice bum?

Young people as well as adults have feelings of insecurity related to various parts their bodies.  Also, if you friend makes jokes concerning an area about which you feel insecure, he is not being a good friend (perhaps, he is immature).  As for my personal  experience, I have always had larger, muscular thighs and buttocks which causes feelings of insecurity.  My brothers joked about this which increased the feelings of insecurity when I was young because they were immature and thoughtless until they grew up. Tell you friend his jokes make you feel uncomfortable or bad but eventually as you get older these negative feelings will not impact you as much.  Also, it is important to remember that other people simply do not notice or care about our perceived flaws nearly as much as we do.Also, many of our “flaws” whether real or not and whether  minor or major can easily be hidden or made less obvious by our clothing choices.  It is important to keep your body healthy and strong and a healthy, strong body is more attractive, as well.As for your thighs, bum, and calves, you are correct that generally their sizes relative to each other can be a part of our general over-all appearance.  That is to say, generally people will find “larger” thighs more attractive if they come with “larger” bums.  The larger bum even creates the illusion that the thighs are not as “large”.  People can also choose clothing to emphasis or focus attention on the body parts about which we are happier. If you would like, you can exercise to make your arms, shoulder, and back more muscular/larger which would create the impression that your lower body is smaller.I suspect that you look fine because young people more so than older people tend to be overly concerned about flaws, although adults are still concerned but to a lessor degree, generally.

What can I do to make my thighs bigger/thicker?

Food/ Diet: To get bigger thighs you need to eat more and eat (frequently).... you need take in more calories than your body burns off..

Your thighs are made up of Two things... Muscle and Fat... to get them bigger/thicker you need to increase size of the muscle's that your thighs are made up of and you need to add fat to them..

To do this ... you need to eat foods high in protein(meat etc).... becuase protein is what muscles are made of
You also need to eat a decent amount of carbohydrates....( whole wheat bread, Pasta, Wild rice..etc).... because carbohydrates are what fuel your body for a workout..... they give you the energy needed to workout
The last thing you need a good amount of is fat... eating fattening foods will give you more energy.... will aid in making your thighs thicker... curvy.... and will prevent you from loosing weight...
Foods that tend to be high in protien... like Dairy products.... Beef, Salmon( meat), Nuts, Seeds.. also tend to have a decent amount of fat in them..

With all that said.... just slightly increase your portion size....and eat every 2/2:30s hours... just eat more..... you can workout all you want to but if your not eating like someone with thicker thighs than you wont get thicker thighs.

As far as working out goes.... Working out is Very important.... if you eat all the stuff above... and eat frequently but dont workout..... it wall be converted to fat... and unless you gain most of your weight in your legs naturally that would not be a good thing... the last thing you want is a pot belly with stick legs.

Also with working out you want to do.... Weight baring exercises..... Weighted: squats, Leg presses, lunges, dead lifts, hip thrust, step ups.. sprints.
You need to do excercise that are... short, and intense that require a lot of power

You also need to get plenty of rest.. dont workout every day.... workout every 2 days.... if your trying to get bigger legs.
Your muscles wont grow when you over train them...

How can you get thick thighs and a small waist?

Start exercising for muscle growth and fat loss and keep an eye on nutrition. This will make your legs, among other body parts, grow, it adds a nice tone to your body and you might end up with your goal physique. In line with this, you may have a look at my blog TURN. On this platform you can find the nutrition basics and soon the exercise basics series (started recently, updated every two weeks on Friday) for fat loss, physique enhancement and body transformation. Note that I didn’t recommend only focusing on leg training. It’s better to train your whole body to avoid muscle imbalances as well as to elicit a greater growth stimulus for muscle growth in your thighs. I’d be glad if that’s what you’re seeking and if it helps you.
