So, part of it is user retention. People who have bookmarked the Yahoo homepage as their browser homepage are your lifeblood, to a certain extent. They always start their browsing experience at Yahoo's page. They've often got rituals of how they get from place to place, how they find what they're looking for, etc.Any sort of disruptive change to the homepage throws those folks into a tizzy. Imagine if Facebook had a ton of fairly equal competitors, what would happen with all the times that Facebook changes their layout, annoying the users. That's what Yahoo faces, because annoyed Yahoo homepage visitors who have their ritual broken might be persuaded to find a simpler/different way using one of Yahoo's competitors as their homepage.

How do you mass delete emails on Yahoo Mail?
Presuming you’re using Yahoo Mail on your PC/laptop, this is the method that I use. Also I find it easier to use the old Yahoo email, rather than the “new”.Sort your emails in “Ascending Order”. That way, you’re looking at the oldest first.Look through and make certain that any email you’ve starred or emails from family, etc. that you might want to keep — mark those and put them in a Keep folder. Otherwise, click the Select All button.Then click the Delete button. Or even better the Spam button.This is not a very speedy way to go, because Yahoo shows you only about 50 messages at a time. But after doing this 20 or so times, you’ll find you’ve made quite a dent in those emails that build up.I’ve heard there’s a way to filter e-mails that are over, say, 6 months old, but I can’t find the setting. I loved school before I was even old enough to attend! I used to go with my mother when she helped out with my older brothers' class projects. I began my school career in a building that was erected in 1902, with an addition put on in the 50s. As an adult, whenever I went back to my home town to visit my parents, it was a big deal to me to drive past my old school. I was heartbroken the time I went past and the old part had been torn down. The newer part is used only for administrative offices. Every now and then I see a school similar to mine, and I always go inside if I can. I loved the old hardwood floors, the giant windows with the roller shades that the teacher had to open and close with a long wooden rod, the radiators that we dried our wet gloves on after recess...
