my friends dad hates me and he says that i am a bad influence on her but really all she has done different was starting to flirt with guys!!! thats crazy...he also thinks that juat b/c she likes to dress different from her sister that it was b/c i told her to when really she chose to do it without anyones help!i dont know what to do or think about him....

Well, I always go to my best friends house. Most of her family is nice. But ever since like last year, I noticed that her dad is really weird... He drinks a lot at night and im sure hes drunk. Hes been to jail before. But now im afraid of him. He would touch somewhere on me like my side, or just slightly walk into me on purpose. Or touch me anywhere, but no where obvious like any private parts. Once I was sitting in a chair, and he walked by and he slid his finger on my butt.... It was really awkward and it was while he was drunk. He scares me and I really hate him. Now I hate going to her house most of the time and I try to avoid him as much as possible. Once I was using the bathroom and their door doesnt lock and he opened the door slightly, but he couldnt see me, then he just paused for like 5 seconds and closed it. Now in the night I dont use the bathroom at her house. It really freaks me out. Also, I remember when he told me and my friend to go downstairs and it was late. My friend was wearing really short shorts pajamas and he kept asking me "Do you think she looks nice in those shorts, do you like them?" He freaks me out so much and was acting really weird. But of course he was probably drunk. And Im getting suspicious on to why he was in jail.. I heard my friends aunt say stuff like "Ill never forget what he did to me" "You girls dont know about sex yet" "You'll regret ever taking him out of jail, and soon she will see the person he really is" And my friends mom was like "Dont say that in front of her! She doesnt need to hear that, shes not suppose to" They always say things like that and now im scared. I cant tell anyone because its awkward and I dont want to lose my friendship between my best friend. I can try to make up excuses, but she will catch on eventually. And please dont tell me to tell anyone. I dont know what to do. Please help, this has been bothering me for so long.

You cant do anything. Just be good mannered, polite and overall nice whenever your around him ( when you arent around him as well ) hes just taking out his bad parenting skills on you. Dont let them get to you, hes just so overprotective yet bad at parenting that hes taking it out on you. Be nice when your around him and itll either let him know your a good person or let you know that hes just a flat out ***. Your not HIS best friend, he doesnt have to like you. But thats no excuse to be a jerk around him so be nice to him. If he wont treat you the same way theres nothing you can do. If he confronts you about it just say "What did i ever do?" And if he brings up the smoking thing say "Everyone tries things like this atleast once in their teenage years. I bet you did too. It's normal and i dont even smoke." He has no reasons to blame you except his own faults. Dont let him get to you!

Harley again - You can have that opinion of me which is fine, I understand. Let me just clarify that I am not "sleeping around". I have had sex with only one person in my life, whom I was in a relationship with for over 6 months before we even kissed the first time. Like I said, this is not something I would ever do. It's just that with THIS one guy in particular, I can't help but be extremely turned on. By just looking at me, you would have no idea. I dress very conservatively and never show off my body. If you want to see a real slut, go to any college in America, and check out the girls who frequently have drunk hook ups with random guys. Just because I have this unexplainable lust for one person, does not make me a slut. If anything, it makes me a human with functioning hormones.
Best friends dad passed away?
ok...about 4 years ago i love my best friend to cancer....well i got home last night and found out that her dad passed away yesterday....i completely lost it....her parents were like my 2nd parents.....would it be a bad idea to get her mom something other that just a card? like flowers or something like that?
How do I support a friend whose dad just left with no notice at all as their mother is dying from a debilitating disease?
It all depends on you my friend, if you truly care for your friend, i would advise you to stay with him till the end of time when or if he faces his mother’s passing. you should be able to comfort him/her. because you need to, it is your obligation to be there when nobody stands by him. If you can help him financially, spiritually, or hopefully; you should because we as humans need to care for each other in times of distress, i really pray that her mother would get better and wish that may the lord grant guidance to the father and make him come back to his children. Words are very powerful my friend, try to find his father. Ask him to go back give him something, that he could figure out his way and make him believe that being by his family is the only act of kindness he can conjure. Make him understand. Show Your friend you truly care, show his mom that she has another son or daughter that is there to take care of her. this is the ultimate support you can do as a friend mate.

Well, you already realize you made a mistake by being sarcastic to your friend's dad and it sounds like you've been trying hard to make up for it ever since. Unfortunately, some people never forget the slightest of slights and your friend's father may be one of them. As for the myspace deal, he is probably aware of a lot of horror stories that have happened when someone gives out a little bit too much information, and so views himself as being a protective parent. It is unfortunate that your own father is now viewing with a bit of suspicion as a result. If you have been best friends for three years and these are the two main reasons your friend's father has such a bad view of you, that is not much. (Unless you left out a few other incidents. Incidents that may seem insignificant to you, but huge-big deals to him.) It must feel extremely frustrating to know that you are truly a good friend and are being judged wrongly. Is it possible that your friend, or someone from your group of friends, used you as an alibi for some misdeed or used you as a scapegoat in order not to get into trouble about something you weren't even involved in? You need to explore all possibilities. Also, I have to wonder if her father treats any of her other friends the way he treats you. If so, there is probably little you can say or do to change his mind. Sounds like you are doing everythig correctly at this stage. Could be, all you can hope for is that the passage of time will mellow him. The main thing is that you know that you are in the right and doing your best.
