Can Yahoo email screen resolution notices be eliminated?

Hi,

That message is only supposed to appear if you have the resolution set lower than 1024x600. Are you sure you have you netbook set to it's maximum resolution? Here's an article with more information:

http://help.yahoo.com/kb/index?page=cont...

If your netbook can't get that resolution, we don't currently have a way to trick our system not to show that message since it's a minimum requirement for the best experience.

Sorry for the inconvenience! If you'd like to give the Product team feedback, you can do so here:

Hope that helps!

U might have changed the resolution of your monitor. Increase the resolution and things will get back to normal. To change the resolution ->

1. Right click on an empty area on your desktop and select 'Properties'
2. Go to the 'Settings' tab, and drag the 'Screen Resolution' slider to a higher value (you might have it at 800x600, increase it to 1024x768 or higher).
3. Click 'OK' to exit - you may be prompted whether you want to keep the settings or not... say 'Yes'.
4. After the increased resolution takes effect, see if everything looks normal... if not... go back to the same screen (Screen Resolution) and change the resolution to higher or back to where it was earlier.

PS: If the slider bar under 'Screen Resolution' is disabled or can't move above 800x600 - you most likely need a new driver for your graphic card.

When designing a mobile app, for what screen size and resolution should I create my designs?

Android is the elephant in the room when it comes to app design. Android currently has the majority of smartphone market share and that it is being used on everything from tablets to e-readers. Android’s multiple devices and form factors make it feel like designing for it is an uphill battle. The old baseline for screens supported for Android smartphone devices was the T-Mobile G1, the first commercially available Android-powered device which has an HVGA screen measuring 320 x 480 pixels. With the release of iOS 7, app designers and developers will need to adjust their visual language to match the new "flat" design of iOS. In addition to the grid system, the dimensions of icons and commonly used elements, typography and iconography has been updated by Apple in many ways. Since iOS 7 is not supported on older models of the iPhone and iPod (only 4+), this guide will only cover the supported devices.iOS Apps Resolutions:iOS Apps Displays:

Go to your desk top, that is the page with all the icon on it. In a open area right click, a box will open. Select properties, then settings. On the left side you will se screen resolution, by moving the slide bar you can adjust the size of the text on the page. Select apply, a box will open asking you if you want to make the changes. You have 10 seconds to click yes or no. If you take no action the next time you turn off your computer the settings will go back to the way they were.
