How Do I Interpret This Tarot Card

How do you interpret the Judgment card in a Tarot reading?

It always depends on where it falls and in what context. So without knowing where the card is or what the question is, my best short answer is “transcendence.”In the Rider-Waite-Smith system (the one I work with), Judgment is about moving to the next level. Below is the Judgment card from The Rabbit Tarot by Nakisha. The Rider-Waite-Smith elements are in the trumpet. Let’s look at the RWS Judgment next. Here is the iconic Rider-Waite-Smith Judgement (this is a word with an acceptable alternative spelling.)In both cards, you have the colors of red and white. Purity and Death are two meanings of those colors. Interestingly, both red and white can be either purity or death. The name of the archangel has some possible interpretations (Israfil (Muslim), Gabriel (Christian), Michael (Christian)). Because of the spiritual songs, Gabriel is often seen as the horn blower. But Biblical studies do not support that.So here we have Judg(e)ment with the horn being blown. This is what is said to happen on the day of the rapture (Christian concept). All believers will be called up.Judgment in Tarot is about receiving a call to move up. To take your place as a better person as it were. But, as I said, it really depends on where the card falls and what the question is. :DSeek joy, y’all. Pass it on.

How should I interpret the tarot card I got after I asked a question?

Yesterday, I asked the tarot cards a question. I asked "How does _____ look at me now? Does he think of me in a positive or negative way? How would you describe it." The card that I picked was Strength.

Is it wrong to draw the tarot cards myself and let others go interpret the meanings to me?

I wouldn’t say it’s wrong, but I personally find it annoying when other people want to talk to me about every reading they do for themselves. If you’re actually interested in learning how the Tarot speaks to you, you have to trust that you’ll get the memo in your every day life. This is a skill and it takes practice. If you can’t commit to your own interpretations, or shift your perspective to interpret how the cards are fitting into your life, then you’re not really learning. You can learn to read for yourself, and it can be a helpful and useful thing in your life that you can trust. But you have to trust yourself, first.

How should I interpret my tarot card reading? It's an interesting one?

Typically, you should include whether or not these cards were inverted, so I'll be giving you a very general interpretation based on the initial question you asked.

The Hierophant is a bit of an antagonist to your future card, meaning that your past and your future will look very different and will require different approaches.

The Hierophant represents a holy or sacred figure using public rites to create divine experiences. Your boyfriend, initially, sought you out as an encouragment from others. Your relationship was not very private. The two of you openly expressed your affections. Your PDA may have even annoyed others. :) The Heirophant is always shown with two pillars -- two decisions that must be made, essentially -- between strictness and looseness. The Hierophant tends to be stubborn or conservative in some regard, and it's likely that your boyfriend viewed you this way at first.

Don't be afraid of The Devil card. Keep in mind that many of the tarot symbols predate Christianity: your aversion to this card is a Christian-based misinterpration of the card, not an omen of bad things.

The Devil is the antithesis to both the Heirohant and the High Priestess. Your past and future cards represent a juxtaposition of two positions (the two pillars in either card). In a sense, he had a choice to make, and The Devil represents his indulgence in only one aspect (pillar). Typically, the Devil represents the passions. I get the feeling the two of you got very physical, and those passions are still flaring heavily in him (whether they're good or bad).

The future card indicates that he's going to exit this phase of base emotion and move toward wisdom once again. However, this new movement will take him from the other end of The Hierophant: instead of seeing you as a expressive yet stubborn person, he will see you as withdrawn, secretive, and more importantly -- changing some part of yourself. Where once you were public and rigid, he will see you instead as a deep in thought with a potential for dynamism.

Tarot! Please help me interpret my tarot reading.?

You as the Ace of Cups = ready for love.

The Obstacle - Temperance - is about a lack of patience in or with the relationship.

Destiny - Five of Swords - defeat; this relationship is doomed to fail.

Future - Devil - Manipulation and deceit/cheating awaits you.

Outcome - Page of Cups - still hearing from this person, speaking of love, but on a smaller level. This is not the same as getting The Lovers as the outcome or the two of cups or the King or Queen of Cups; this is an immature love.

King of Swords: I don't like him; he is smart but often a liar/cheat.
